The Santa Fe Experience

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: Location and price were key here as well as having two bedrooms.
Cons: I loved our little adobe but the patio had no view so when we book here again will look to see if a unit at the top of the compound is available.
Location: Easy walk or drive into Santa Fe tourist stuff without being in the fray. Terracotta Bistro, Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, Fort Marcy Park for sunsets.
When I researched our trip to Santa Fe, I knew I wanted an adobe hotel or b n b to get the feel of the area. I also needed to accommodate my college aged daughter and her friend so two rooms were a must. Fort Marcy Hotel and Suites gave us all we wanted and more at a very fair price. We enjoyed a two bedroom/two bathroom renovated condo-style adobe with an easy walk or drive through Fort Marcy Park into all we wanted to do in Santa Fe i.e. the Square, restaurants, shopping and museums. Best of all, we had a comfy living area and dining area to be able to spend time together in the mornings and evenings. And the Fort Marcy location made for some fine sunset viewing!

Great for longer stays

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Pros: See above. Add our location closer to the office made for less hill to walk up when returning from the plaza. (Fort Marcy is just 6 blocks away.)
Cons: Tiny details.Neither wash cloths, shower soap, or coffee were stocked when we arrived.
Location: Nice history walk on the nearby site of Ft Marcy. Plaza is walkable. Many walkable galleries.
The fully equipped kitchen and fully furnished suite makes this a very comfortable home away from home. This is our third visit. Each room is a bit different, in terms of furniture and certainly in terms of art. The traditional couch and chair were comfortable. This suite had the least in the way of any view, but it was close to the office and pool / laundry facility.

It's a very nice condo development - good views

Posted Mar 17, 2017
Pros: Most everything.
Cons: The night supervisor
Location: A few minutes driving to the Plaza area and to restaurants
Had a major screw up with a midnight check in. We couldn't get into our suite. The night manager apparently did not answer his/her phone so we had to get into another lodging for the first night and did not get into the other facility until about 4:00 a.m. Even Expedia could not make contact with anyone to assist. Make sure you get the right code to the lock box (where your room key is held) if you are arriving late because you can't rely on the night supervisor to assist. it was very infuriating. The next day the front desk was very apologetic and promised to correct the problem with the night supervisor. The suite was great when we finally got into it. It was roomy, nicely decorated and the bedrooms (each with their own bathroom) had very, very comfortable beds.

Nice condos near to town

Posted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: Beautiful views from the balcony.
Cons: Bedding could be improved, upstairs carpet was in need of cleaning.
Location: Just a few minutes drive from town. Shopping, galleries, and tourist sights to enjoy.
Great location. Condos are accessed by a number of steps so beware if you are traveling with a lot of luggage or have mobility issues. Nicely decorated units, comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen was well equipped and great for self catering. Indoor pool in need of cleaning/resurfacing, did not look enticing. On site laundry facilities were good.

Thanks for staying with us! We're glad you enjoyed your well decorated condo, the convenience of having your own kitchen, and the spectacular views from the property. While there are stairs on our property, we are always happy to accommodate any requests for units that are easily accessible. All we need is advanced notice.

Fort Marcy

Posted Mar 7, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Maybe explain a little better at check in the hotel features. Like, no housekeeping, where to put your trash, how to get towels, etc.
Location: Great location...next to shops/restaurants. Great area!
We enjoyed every bit of our stay at this hotel...it is situated right next to Ft Marcy park which features the best view for a beautiful sunset!

Nice surprise

Posted Mar 1, 2017
Pros: Cozy and clean bedroom, nicely updated bathroom and well equipped kitchenette.
Cons: Wi-fi maybe?
Location: Enjoyed the morning walk to Ft. Marcy park with sweeping views of the city and beyond. Close to downtown and nice coffee & bakery shops.
Didn't expect much when I first booked this place; thought the location would be somewhat inconvenient, but booked it anyway because this was one of the few places that offered free parking. Wow, what a surprise. The pics on the website don't do justice. This place is actually much nicer.
