We received excellent assistance from the hotel concierge, he provided above and beyond the service that would be expected from a fine hotel.

"Classic older hotel"
Small rooms yes but really comfortable bed and close to everything. Really large people may not be as comfortable in a classic queen but it was great for us

"Great easy location"
We drove into Santa Fe not knowing there was a festival and a BIG parade that blocked entrance to the hotel. Staff was great finding us parking close by till we could enter. Staff overall could not have been more considerate and extremely helpful!

"Charming and friendly"
What a charming hotel. The lobby is warm and inviting, the pool area was so nice. Unfortunately the weather did not permit swimming, but the pool and pool area were lovely. The fireplace in the lobby was so nice to sit by in the evening. Got a glass of wine from the bar and sat by the fireplace reading and enjoying the evening. The free breakfast was by far the best as far as free breakfasts go. The food was wonderful! The room was cozy and clean. The bathroom needed a little work, but nothing that couldn't easily be fixed. The location was perfect, close to all the wonderful shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Location, location, location"
Even with the major construction going on, the Old Santa Fe Inn was still perfect! I have stayed here many times & have never been disappointed. The rooms are extremely clean & furnished like home! The staff is always available to answer questions & give advice. The morning & afternoon snacks are a PLUS! The location is perfect to walk to the plaza, the museums, the yummy restaurants. The Inn still remains my favorite!

"Class act"
Great location, just a short walk to town, galleries, restaurants.Setting can not be beat, architecture, rooms with kivas, you are back in time. The best, outdoor dining all day with interesting music. There is van service till 11pm,going and coming back.Gives access to other restaurants, meeting with friends, etc. If you are not going to travel outside of the area, you don't need a car,car rentals at the airport are prohibitive, given all the taxes, all that come as an unpleasant surprise.Only negative, the pool is small, but they have a great spa.I strongly recommend

"Nice hotel in a great location "
I really liked the location of this hotel and the lobby is quite impressive. You can walk to the square as well as countless restaurants in the area. I'd give their Bar/restaurant, Agave, a miss though. The happy hour margarita is only $6 but it's a glass of sugary sour mix so not worth even that. The bar in their large first floor area is called Cava lounge and really cool. You can get a glass of wine and sit on one of the big couches or chairs, and they even have live music some nights. The room was spacious and clean. I suggest you ask for a room higher than the second floor because if you face the back you'll be ground level with the first floor roof (see photo). My one big complaint about this place was how loud the cleaning people were in the morning. From before 8am there were hoards of them in the hallways (ok like 8-10 people probably) and there was constant yelling back and forth, doors slamming, and it was impossible to sleep late. There has got to be a better way to get the job done... It was on and on to the point where I wanted to stick my head out the door and ask them to keep the conversation down at 8 in the morning. Otherwise, I would recommend the Eldorado. If you're driving, definitely take advantage of the municipal lot across the street. It is $12 a day vs. $25 at the hotel but then again if you plan on coming and going they'll reset the meter in the municipal lot. At the hotel you can come and go at the hotel as you please (valet only though).
