Historic Palace ave Casita

Santa Fe vacation home in Historic Eastside, near Santa Fe Plaza
This charming, quiet casita has the three L's: Location, location and location! Situated on beautiful, tree-lined Palace Avenue, the spotlessly clean casita is within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops on the historic Santa Fe Plaza toward the west, and the leafy, winding River Walk Park to the east, with art galleries and fine dining just across the little bridge that leads to world-famous Canyon Road. The property has its own lovely wraparound garden -- your private sanctuary, where birds sing happily and the gurgle of the river can be heard in the wet season. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. Inside, with a classically 1930s layout and Santa Fe-style details, is a completely updated two-bedroom, one-bath property with central heat and air, a tankless water heater, stackable washer and dryer, and thoroughly modern stainless steel kitchen appliances. The bedrooms are furnished with one queen and one king bed and spacious closets; the deep tub and shining black-and-white subway tiles in the bathroom add extra charm. Cozy up to the kiva fireplace in the living room on cool evenings, or enjoy some coffee in your own private outdoor space on warm mornings. The tranquil enclosed yard has a garden, a walkway and plenty of space for outdoor dining. Included is off-street parking for two vehicles. This property can be rented with the adjacent unit Homeaway #4806141. Also check out our other property Homeaway #7431044.

5/5 Excellent

This place is awesome and so is the landlord. It’s in a great location, has a lovely fenced in yard area, and the indoor furnishings are very comfortable.

4/5 Good

Great Proximity to downtown
This was a very nice 2 bedroom house. Very comfortable. It is on a busy street and so that took some getting used to, but the location with off street parking was great. The shower is a little funky. I would stay here again.

5/5 Excellent

wonderful location, excellent attention from owner
Casa Feliz is charming and just perfect for someone who is looking for a more authentic type of lodging in Santa Fe. All furnishings were tasteful and clean and very comfortable, and the garden was a terrific bonus, delighting the eye and screening the busy traffic on E Palace, a pretty significant road in town.

5/5 Excellent

Art, nature, cuisine, adventure-Sante Fe style!
I can’t say enough about this charming, quaint, exquisitely decorated Sante Fe style Pueblo home! It was just a perfect place to relax and unwind for a week. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, all the appliances are very nice and easy to use. The fireplace offers a perfect ending to fun/adventure filled days. The bedrooms were quite spacious and very comfortable. It has two beautifully landscaped patios to enjoy the fresh air, we were there a little early in the season to fully enjoy these special spots but beautiful to look at nonetheless. Close by, across the street from a bubbling stream that you can also enjoy a leisurely walk to many beautiful places around Sante Fe. Walking distance to the main plaza in one direction, the art district, Canyon Road, in another. The food choices were amazing, Southwest cuisine, seafood, Italian, anything you’d want the choices were plentiful. We used the Pueblo as a home base, taking excursions to Taos, tent rocks, Madrid, Ojo Caliente, and many other hikes close by. All in all, perfect, we will be back!

A perfect place from which to experience Santa Fe
This casita was perfect in every possible way. It had everything we needed, plus it was tastefully appointed and extremely comfortable. It had enough room for two of us and our two small dogs, including a huge porch and front yard. The full kitchen was fully stocked with all the implements, dishes and glassware we needed to prepare a full dinner for four. The beds are large and extremely comfortable, with complete linens. There are plush cotton towels for the bathroom, which has a full tub and shower and nice tile everywhere. As we were staying for several months and working remotely, we spent a lot of time in the casita, and were never at a loss for anything. The fireplace even works great, and there's an ample supply of cut firewood just outside. There's a big parking area in the back, off Palace Ave., and the place is an easy walk to the Plaza, the Cathedral and all the shops and galleries there,. It's also a short walk from the casita to Canyon Road and all the galleries, restaurants and cafes there as well. You could also walk easily to Marcy Park. Scott is a terrific host and available to help out, even though he lives out of state; he regularly comes into town and can be counted on to respond quickly to any issues. We hope to stay here again very soon.
