No bell hop, check in staff only semi-friendly

Posted Nov 9, 2016
Location: Location was very handy to restaurants.
Not a positive first impression. The facilities are dated, somewhat dark. On the positive side, the room was quiet and comfortable. And, they had a morning coffee bar on each of the 3 floors. Handy.

We're sorry to hear your check-in experience was less than excellent--we'll follow up with the front desk to see what the issue was. But we're glad you enjoyed the location and coffee bar! Safe travels, and we hope to see you again soon!

Friendly, helpful staff

Posted Nov 8, 2016
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. We especially liked the shuttle service to the Plaza.
Cons: Another chair in the room would be nice when watching tv. Also it was almost impossible to use a cart when unloading and/or loading your car. More carts would be a great help so you don't have to make 2 trips taking luggage/clothes to room.
Location: It's pretty close to Santa Fe Plaza so if you're in good shape ,you could walk. It's also close to railroad area which has shops and restaurants.

Thank you so much, Betty! We're glad you enjoyed the shuttle and our staff! We're sorry for the struggle with the carts and will look into resolving that. Hope to see you again soon!

The $10 per person charge for continental breakfast was insulting. How cheap can they get!

Resort is a misnomer for this hotel.

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Pros: The restaurant and bar were very nice. The shuttle to the plaza was very helpful because of the long, non-scenic route from the hotel.
Cons: The bed was horribly uncomfortable! After two sleepless nights, I asked the staff about getting a room with a better mattress or a room with 2 beds. Her response was that we would have to pay more for a double room and that nothing else with a king bed was made up. Her apathetic attitude was shocking! Not even an apology or a helpful suggestion. Just take it or leave it!
Location: This hotel is a little too far from the plaza for a leisurely walk, but they do furnish a shuttle.

Excellent choice of our first stay in Santa Fe

Posted Oct 27, 2016
Location: Shuttle provided by the hotel , however it was an easy walk to the Plaza in the centre of the city .
Recommend the Hacienda Section of the complex , however the addition of a Butler was a bit over the top for an Australian !

Beautiful hotel and grounds with excellent staff.

Location: Located very close to downtown shopping and they have a shuttle as well. A+++
The Hacienda suite was amazing, very spacious and comfortable. There was a wonderful breakfast every morning in the view room and the meals were delicious in the restaurant.

Quiet hotel

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Cons: I would have like an outdoor space to enjoy a cocktail outside.
Location: It is close to the farmers market and many great restaurants.
The hotel rooms are very quiet. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the plaza, if you don't want to walk. Coffee service is provided on each floor in the morning. I had bought some roasted green chilis to bring home and they were kind enough to place them in their freezer for our trip home.

Lovely setting. Santa Fe feeling. The restaurant staff was especially friendly. Spacious and pretty room. Close to downtown Santa Fe. Only a short walk. Would visit again!
