Great location just of the Plaza in Santa Fe.

Posted Dec 7, 2016
Pros: Pretty much everything.
Cons: A comfortable reading chair would be nice.
Location: Best location in Santa Fe--right off the Plaza. Everything is walkable or accessible via the free bus.
Room rate (in the winter) included breakfast and afternoon sherry/tea. Heated pool open all year round. Room seemed a little dated, but was quite adequate for two. We would have appreciated a comfortable chair for relaxing, but there wasn't room with two queen beds in this room. Free parking and free internet were definite perks.

Great location and welcoming and comfortable stay.

Great location. Arrived to nice sherry and tea reception, walked to very good mexican restaurant, then back for wine by the fire at hotel watering hole. A few shady characters on the streets but mostly just tourists. Nice breakfast, a little shopping, and we were on our way. It was a very pleasant one night stay.

A delight of a stay

Posted Nov 2, 2016
Pros: The room decor was fabulous; great breakfast; great staff!
Cons: These rooms are smaller, more like European hotels. We did not care but others should know.
Location: Short walk to the Plaza and all the great Santa Fe shopping. Guarded parking so we felt good about the car overnight.

You know you are in Santa Fe!

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Pros: Cozy room with real wood furniture, wool Navaho hangings, paneled wooden door, hand-hammered fixtures, beautiful carpet. Abundant off-street parking.
Cons: A bathroom light, separate from the fan. Newer bath tile.
Location: Prime location! Just blocks from the Plaza, surrounded by rustic architecture, luxury and boutique one-of-a-kind shops. Walk everywhere you want to go
Fabulous, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the future!!! Don't cut corners on a chain hotel, for a little more stay here! It is worth it!!!

A Hotel Near Everything

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Location: See above
The Inn if the Governors recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and is showing its age. Nevertheless, the location of the hotel, within walking distance of the plaza and the State Capitol is a definite plus. Moreover, the staff of the hotel was very helpful with directions and suggestions for visiting museums and other attractions

beautiful room - shower/tub needs updating - faucet hard to turn on, no grab bar. Excellent location, quiet, hope to stay there again.

Just what we needed & more!

Posted Oct 4, 2016
Cons: The drawers in the chest were difficult to open since there was not a lot of room to fully open the doors first.
Perfect location--within walking distance to most sites in Santa Fe. Friendly & helpful staff, fresh breakfasts that were different every day--whether you liked southwest flavors or not, there was always a choice. The rooms were clean and the parking was free. The real treat was the sherry & tea in the afternoon after a full day of gallery hopping. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
