Former great B&B near downtown Santa Fe.

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: Parking, bed linens.
Our room wound up in the basement, not my favorite "luxury" room location. Although it had been remodeled last spring, the dirty and rusty heating element in the bathroom did not appear to have been touched. The club chairs had peeled arms also. The Italian linens were the only luxury items we encountered other than parking which was included in the nightly rate. The breakfasts were meager and hot food was served cold with almost burned chips of some sort. The staff were very nice and helpful. However, this is not the charming place we have stayed for many years.

Wonderful place to stay!

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: everything, staff was very friendly and location is perfect
Location: hiking Cross of the Martyrs Art district - Canyon Road Plaza dining live music
All of the staff was so wonderful and friendly. We mentioned upon check in that we are vegan but would be happy to just eat fruit for breakfast. We were so touched and surprised when we were given a delicious vegan option each morning of our stay. The location is perfect, we walked to art galleries on Canyon Road and up to the Cross Of The Martyrs and we walked to the Plaza. We wanted to do some hiking and took a short drive to a beautiful spot that was recommended to us by a very nice man that works at the inn. We traveled from Dallas and the weather was much cooler and just beautiful, it was a wonderful weekend. This was our first trip to Santa Fe and we will be back and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.

Within walking distance of the Historic Plaza.

This is a nicely located and quiet B&B with a friendly staff and well kept rooms. The Inn is within walking distance of the attractions of old Santa Fe. There is parking for guests directly in back of the Inn. It was sometimes difficult to pull out onto the street, especially left, due to traffic. Terry was very cordial and responsive to questions and need of the guests. Breakfast was superb!

Walking distance to Plaza.

Great stay, attentive and friendly staff. Walking distance to Plaza, and all restaurants and galleries. My daughter and I enjoyed the decor and ambiance of the Inn. Our breakfasts were tasty and I enjoyed the wine tasting on Saturday afternoon. The only suggestion I would make is to have some plants and flower pots on the upstairs patio overlooking the parking lot. It would add some needed charm. Rebecca was especially delightful!

Tucked Away and Terrific

I loved being at the Inn on the Paseo and would stay again if I am in Santa Fe. The breakfast was wonderful, the room was quiet, small but more than adequate for my needs. Once my car was parked I could walk to the Best of Santa Fe. What more can you ask for.?

A Keeper

We stopped at the Inn on our way home from Texas. The atmosphere is charming and the service friendly and excellent. Our bed was comfortable; however, the room was too warm, and we couldn't find a way to regulate the heat. We wish we had known that we could open the window a little. Oh well, next time we'll know. We'd love to stay here again.

Comfortable but not memorable

Comfortable stay, very good location. Could use some updating but everything worked. Included breakfasts were fine but service was a little perfunctory for a smallish B&B/inn.

Cozy B & B style operation

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Covered above
Cons: Water pressure is a bit weak. Shower head could be updated. To be really picky the TV monitors are not clear and are needlessly small.
Location: 10 minute stroll to heart of Santa Fe with all its attractions
This place is like staying with an old friend in their home. It's two or three old houses strung together over the last few decades with periodic updating in rooms and public areas. The staff if you run into any are pleasant and eager to help with any questions you might have. There are fresh cookies laid out in the PM at the dining room sideboard. There is coffee/ teas available 24/7. The complimentary frittata breakfast plus fresh fruit is solidly Southwest and delicious. The rooms are colourful and tastefully finished but if the guest is a size queen they will find them quite small. Linens are above average. All in all a refreshing change from a chain hotel.
