Dear Tina Marie, It’s Odd that you give us a negative review when in fact you tried to extend and we denied you. Although we are a pet friendly hotel we expect our guest to be mindful to prevent their pets from creating stains in our guest rooms. We apologize we couldn’t extend your stay but when pets have accidents in our rooms and they are not reported we are forced to not extend anyone that does not follow our hotel pet guidelines. Once you checked out we scheduled a profesional carpet cleaner to clean our room which is why we could not extend your stay. This is a preventative measure we need to take so that our future guest have a pleasant stay.

Most likely the worst place we ever stayed in. Dated, worn out furniture and zero noise insulation in this old property. You will hear every step above you. When we mentioned it at front desk, two other guests were present with similar complaints. Even worse it is an unsafe place in winter conditions. It had snowed three days before our arrival, and they did not treat any icy areas at parking or on the way to the room with sand. Front desk clerk was aware of it but mentioned owner did not take care of it. She handed us a business card of owner to email our complaints. We did, but manager did not show any concern about the issues mentioned.

Thank you Margt, Unfortunately your review is after we did not discount your reservation for departing early. Unfortunately you left after the second day of your reservation and you didn’t leave until after 3pm. Your concerns came to my attention after you found out you were going to be charged because of the time you decided to leave. I apologize that you were not in agrees me as to why we charged you. Our guest will read the reviews prior to this one and they will see the type of hotel we are.

As for the Shower pressure it’s due because of the heat wave our state is going through. We were forced to lower the pressure in attempt to conserve water so at certain points throughout the day water pressure may have been lower than usual.I hope you understand and choose to stay with us again during your future travels.Luís GM

as though people live there on a permanent basis. People were lounging around the street areas parking places seemed to make an nsafe atmosphere. One guy talked on his phone and watched me unload my vehicle for an hour straight. Creepy and uncomfortable.

Thank you for your honest feedback. I hope you still had a good stay but the Residence Inn is an Extended stay Brand for Marriott. We in fact have guest that have been with us for two years to 6 months. So yes some guest have become Residence and pay a daily rate while doing so. Our guest are great and loyal not creepy.

We had never tried a Residence Inn by Marriott before but following our stay here we would definitely look to book another one in the future. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Both the young lady on reception and the Manager who happened to there too were super friendly, willing to help us make the most of our stay and so helpful. Our room was so spacious with the added bonus of a sofa to chill on and a kitchen if we needed it . It was spotlessly clean, we could park directly outside and had easy access to the breakfast room, pool, bbq area and guest laundry. Breakfast was super both mornings with a great selection of hot and cold items to chose from with an added touch of New Mexico flavour. Cannot fault this hotel!

Very good location, great suite.
Very comfortable, spacious room. Fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom. Pool, badminton, and even grills! Very convenient location- minutes to either the old town or to the opera. I will stay there again.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I apologize for you thinking the AC was not working. We are in the middle of winter where temperatures drop to below 20’s and pipes will freeze if the AC is on. As for the beds we have all type of guests that request different types of beds and if You choose to stay with us again we can definitely let you try a room with a firmer or softer mattress. As for the dog feces we have had 7 snow storms that have covered our grounds and I can assure you this is never an issue but we are a pet friendly hotel so I can see your frustration. We will definitely take your feedback into consideration as there is designated areas for pets and we will ensure it is enforced. Again thank you for your feedback and we hope you travel safely. Lastly as for checking out early we apologize that we are not your booking agent and your reservation was prepaid. Our stay was great!! About a 8 minute drive to the plaza. The staff was super friendly which made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was unexpectedly different every day and delicious! The room was a bit dated but clean and spacious which allowed for a nice stay with family. We would definitely stay here again!

It was nice to have room to spread out. The kitchen was well appointed. I wish the light in the shower area was brighter. The staff is wonderful. When we had an issue with the heater, they were right on it, coming up with solutions and solving the problem. While it isn't a southwest experience like you'd get at LaFonda, it is solid for a Residence Inn. The breakfast is really outstanding. We would stay there again.

Overall OK, needs improvement
Overall a good night. Very quiet, except for the SUPER loud refrigerator. The room needed maintenance. The shower head was so intense, it was like getting blasted with a needle jet of water. The lighting was terrible with no good place for my wife to put on makeup. Dog friendly!!! I expect a little better for $235 a night.

Location is not too far from downtown. Room is larger than usual Hotels. Dishes were still dirty sitting in the dish washer. Bathroom sink was not draining right. Coffee didn't get replenished.

Hi Leonard, being that you stayed here 2 nights due to Covid your room would not have received service , but we would have replenished towels, etc... at the Front Desk. Thank you for staying.
