Great price and location for Santa Fe.

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Quiet, reasonable and clean. Pet friendly
Cons: The kitchen equipment, such as pots, pans, cups, glasses and utensils.
Location: Good area to walk a dog. Yaki Maki sushi a good place to eat. Just minutes to the plaza. Trader Joes, Whole Foods Santa Fe baking company very close.
Very quiet location. Easy access to Saint Francis Road and I 25. Albertsons and restaurants just a short walk. Will stay there again.

Close to I25

At first glance on the internet it appears as a nice place to stay. Don't judge it by the photos. There are deceiving rooms within. We were provided with an updated room. Holes in drapes. Inadequate kitchen supplies. One piece of soap. What a joke this place is. Go somewhere else.

Disappointing stay

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: The location. That's the only reason we stayed here.
Cons: EVERYTHING.
This place needs to be renovated, refurbished. The rooms are too small.....especially the bathrooms. The shower is tiny and dark. In the kitchen, the fridge only opened part way because it was too close to the wall. And the bathroom was not clean when we arrived. I would not stay here again.

confortevole mini appartamento

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: sistemazione accogliente

You get what you pay for.

Pros: Location. It was not close to downtown, but it was close to the highway and grocery store.
Cons: Service, amenities, room upgrades.
Location: There is an Albertson's Grocery store and shopping center surrounding the hotel. Hotel looked a little rundown compared to surrounding neighborhood.
Beds were uncomfortable, room had very low lighting, bathroom wasn't very nice, the kitchenette looked like it was falling apart. At least the refrigerator worked. Daily maid service was inconsistent. As I was waiting to check in, I overheard one of the staff on the phone. The guest asked if he could have more coffee for his in-room coffee maker. The staff member told the guest that they weren't supposed to have a coffee maker in their room, anyway, that it is not in the list of advertised amenities, but they were lucky to have one because they had a kitchenette. (Take note, coffee drinkers who need coffee first thing in the morning) Also, a woman was checking in ahead of me, traveling by herself. She was given a room on the upper floor. She asked if they had an elevator. The staff member said no. I assume her bags were heavy, because she then asked if someone would be able to help her carry her bags up the stairs. The staff member checking her in offered to help her right away. The manager overheard the exchange, and as the staff member was collecting her bag, the manager was quick to point out that this was NOT a service that they normally provided. Breakfast was sparse. One morning, I overheard the staff discussing they were low on butter (almost out). The next day at breakfast, they were completely out of butter. Why didn't they buy more butter, knowing they were almost out? Extremely disappointed in this hotel.

Best secret in town...

Posted Aug 5, 2015
I've been returning here for a few years now, and this is still -- far and away -- the best deal you'll find in the area. If you're looking for a clean, no-frills place for a short stay, you'll be very pleasantly surprised, as these are in fact full suites with a microwave and refrigerator. (just don't tell anyone ;-))

Good price; needs updating

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: location and landscaping.
Cons: Needed outdoor seating, new beds and carpeting in some rooms.
Location: About two miles south of downtown Santa Fe on a main road.
The Santa Fe Suites are well priced and well located. The kitchenettes are handy and the refrigerators are pretty big, so good for a family carting a cooler along. The beds needed replacing, and the carpet in some rooms. The rooms were clean and the yards were landscaped. It would have been nice to have some outside seating areas where guests could sit and enjoy the cool New Mexico air.
