I got scammed by Expedia and this hotel!

Pros: Nothing. Never using Expedia again!
Location: Not safe, remote- don't go.
There is a giant sign stating that rooms are $61 on Sun- Thursday. It was Thursday and I paid $135. The guy at the front desk seemed nice. There was graffiti all over the furniture and carved into the bathroom mirror. There were tons of cigarette burn holes all over the blanket on the bed. When I pulled back the blanket, there was someone else's hair all over the pillow. The sun light was coming the door which leads out to the balcony and parking lot- totally not secure. Plus it smelled. I was scared. I had no car, heavy luggage and at the moment-no where to go. I frantically tried to find another place to stay and got extremely lucky by getting a room in a nice hotel because someone cancelled. I called Expedia for help and they said they needed to talk to the manager of the hotel before I could get a refund. I didn't have a car and didn't know if I was going to find another place to stay, so I begged them not to call. I needed to get out of there as soon as possible. I literally was afraid of what would have happened to me if I stayed there too long- plus the sun was going down. I waited for a lyft to come to the parking lot to wait while I returned the key and literally ran away. The hotel refuses to refund me and Expedia won't help. My reservation was non-refundable but places like this should NOT be recommended on their site. The hotel way over charged me, was dirty and was not a safe place for me. I was scammed! At least I made it out of there safely.

Weekend stay

First room that I was put in was dirty and mattresses looked like something from the 1999! It was horrible never again!

Beeping is "no problem"

That sums up the whole experience. Walked into our hotel room at 10pm with the smoke alarm beeping every minute. I called the front desk and he said "beeping is no problem". I will fix tomorrow. Serious?! After i gave him a few min to hopefully come down, i went to desk again. Again, he said "beeping no problem". Then his next fix for me was to tell me he would come and take out battery so it would stop. Are you kidding me?! Thats not safe! I said i wanted another room, which he gave me. The conditions of the chairs in either room we wouldnt even put our suitcase on. Filthy. Woke up the next morning hoping to cancel the rest of our 6 nights, they rejected that. Nevertheless, my mother and i packed our stuff and left

Needs HELP

The furniture and restroom is filthy. There are stains everywhere. It’s scary to think what’s happened in this room. Apon arrival, I walked into the lobby and was ignored by the two men at the front because they were in the middle of a conversation. He gave me a room that was used. And I had to bring all my stuff downstairs to tell him that the he gave me was being occupied or has not been cleaned yet. I’m only here out of desperation of a place to stay for the night but I definitely will not be back. I’d rather sleep in the car.

Room was cold bed was hard pillows flat but staff was friendly and the rooms looked clean

It was very easy to plan this trip at a low price. Its was clean and no one bothered. This was my first time using expedia ans now i will use it again.

Pros: It was nice and quiet. The rates were reasonable.
It was a nice little get away for me. Like a little “staycation”. Still in LA County but away from home.

Okay stay

My fiancé and i’s stay here was just okay. It was only for a one night only but I still felt uncomfortable. Shower was old, toilet bowl flush lever was broken, bed was stiff, the walls around the door had signs of water damage. We left early the next day. Wouldn’t want to stay here ever again. Front desk staff really wasn’t informative, just took my id and my info down, gave me the key to our room and pointed up top..we had to find the room ourselves. Wouldn’t recommend to no one!
