From check in to check out - best service in a long time from a hotel. I had to check in early - and Abdul helped me with that - thank you for that life saving check in! It was super early. I was shocked they let me! Then, the morning breakfast had closed, but Alex gave me some fruit and a coffee ...
Experience was great but they have hidden fees such as $40 a night for parking, they don’t mention the car rental closes at 6pm, so rather than turning your car in, they charge another $40 for parking. Expect to spend at least $500 more than the price you get when booking. so many hidden bs fees, ...
We stayed in Room 303 which is an Ocean View Suite. The view is great, looking across to Santa Monica Beach, although last time we stayed in an Ocean View Suite we had a room on the top floor which had a superior view, even though it was the same priced room. Additionally, in the suite in 303, the ...
We love the hotel is tiny but you don’t need more, good location, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants, we stay again but probably with the kitchen until.
We had a nice stay at this hotel which was well situated near the beach shops and great restaurants. The staff was friendly and welcoming and service very good. Nice pool area. My only complaint is the hotel is a bit dated and would have like a bit more modern room. No complaints otherwise.
Good and comfortable nice hotel and close to the beach.
Good stay - location was the main reason higher score. Hotel is a little tired and pictures online don't really depict the current state of the room we were in. Staff were nice enough, held our bags and let us change in lobby bathroom before our long flight home.
Lovely views, great position, staff help full close to the Santa Monica Pier
fantastic ocean park styling, clean rooms, free parking, great coffee, friendly people the roses are in bloom at the Santa Monica Palisades Park, and also up in Los Angeles at the rose garden by the Science Center (Metro Train stops right there!)
Everything was great from staff to facilities except I just wish the refrigerator could be adjusted to colder.
At first entry was very impressive classic hotel with first class charm, until I saw the swimming pool which was much smaller than it looked in photos also loaded with screaming kids which parents and hotel staff refused to quiet them so adult gusets could'nt enjoy the pool also the pool was shaded ...
It is by no means a 5 Star place but it has very friendly staff and it is close by the pier. I would stay here again.
have stayed here twice now and will stay again. only disappointment this time was that the tv had no signal. when we called the front desk, we got a "oh well" kind of response. No help.
Easy access to the pier and promenade. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was very courteous.
The hotel was beautiful located across from the beach and within walking distance to 3rd Street Promenade as well as the Pier. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food amazing and the pool beautiful. We loved our stay and highly recommend.
I was only here for one night because I had to be in the area for business. I didn't see much of the facilities or grounds., but the room is updated, the bed very comfortable, and the room is what I would expect for a 5 star, of which I have stayed in many. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Amazing hotel and great price. We stay here every year when we make our beach trip.
very good hotel but parking is hart to find, i like it if i have change i will be back but i need more day to stay one day is no enough
Staffs were so kind and the view was fantastic!!! Definitely recommended!
The hotel was very nice, the room was big and clean, big parking lot. Only the breakfast area was too small so that you had to wait for the people to move over. Outdoor tables were nice.
You know the familiar melody of the beach: seagulls soaring overhead, the "slurp" of your nicely chilled drink, and the sound of the surf splashing on the shore. Yes, many people have dreams of weekends near the shore. There is something for everyone near the ocean, whether you want to walk the boardwalk in search of saltwater taffy or enjoy the sun on the soft sand. As an extra perk, you'll get to know many other day-trippers to trade tales with in Santa Monica.
We have what you're in search of. It's easy to see why Santa Monica was one of the world's most visited beach bookings last year. You'll find numerous Santa Monica beach hotels on our site, and you can be assured you'll certainly find top-notch extras like blankets and bath products to rinse away the sea salt.
Wondering where you can see the coolest birds, or which Santa Monica hotel has a superb balcony? (Because sometimes, you just can't make yourself go even a few minutes to the beach!) Well lucky you. Santa Monica welcomed thousands of adventurers during the last twelve months, and you can note Expedia customers' information on hotels near the beach in our review section.
We should tell you: Beach hotels in Santa Monica offer everything you could wish for to create the best beach vacation you've ever known. It’s no surprise they were granted a spectacular overall rating, and you'll find the hotel's setting about as beautiful as the shore. There can be adventures that go well beyond suntans and sandy toes, too, in such a populous town.
Can you think of anything that will loosen you up more than sun-filled fun? Expedia is here for you with the best deals for Santa Monica beach hotels. It's one region that has seen slightly less enthusiasm during the last 12 months—it's a great moment to book. Then prepare to pay a visit to The Dogtown. It's been expecting you.
