Classic hotel

Starting with the valet parking attendants the staff was extremely welcoming and the service superb. It is a great location close to the beach and to the 3rd street promenade. My only criticism would be that a hotel that charges as much as they do ought to offer free internet to it’s guests. It felt very “cheap” of them to charge to access the service that costs them nothing extra.

Outstanding Service!!

Pros: Quality service.
Cons: Food selection was limited and very overpriced.
The service over my 3-day stay was exceptional. Every staff member provided personalized and quality service including housekeeping to the management!

Very expensive for a "tired" room.

Cons: Renovate the rooms.
Friendly staff. One of the 2 rooms we reserved was not ready at check-in time. Location is good if you need to be in the area. Very expensive for a "tired" room. Finish on the bathtub was peeling off and there was a hair in the tub.

The room wa s close too $600 a night and was like a shoe box. I am so dissapointrd as I was at a film conference w many meetings all day long and I just wanted to go back to the room snd chilll . Bit it felt way too small and not worth the price tag! I am disappointed w Expedia as well as the Fairmont - you can’t charge that type of money fur this room!

Lovely hotel close to beach, shops and sights

Pros: Any issues were immediately resolved. See below.
Cons: Some house-keeping issues. We had to ask for our balcony to be cleaned as very dusty/dirty. We had to ask fro more coffee capsules....
Location: Walking, relaxing by the pool or on the beach, shopping, eating.
Had an enjoyable stay, lounged by the pool, did some damage shopping and had some lovely walks e.g. rustic canyon, Venice. We also ate very well!!!!

The site and the facilities are by far the best in the area... The pool - the grass - the fountains - beautiful. A very well run hotel - great services and great staff...
