Only a mere few steps away from the sugar white sandy beach and lapping waves along the shore. These longtime Seagrove Beach owners have owned the Hip Heidiway located in the Little Seagrove Beach Bungalow for decades and recently remodeled this entire 1950s bungalow. It's now a bright and an unique space that was inspired after a recent trip to the Palm Springs, CA Modernism Week and Tour of Homes held every year in February. Southern Living and Coastal Living featured Interior Designers, Paige Schnell and Beth Morrow of Tracery Interiors based in Rosemary Beach and Inlet Beach, have created this light filled and restful retreat for you to enjoy. This for adults only designed Mid-Century modern studio space offers an ideal way for you to escape to a private beachside retreat incognito. A cool modern 500 square foot studio space is the perfect hideaway in the heart of old Seagrove. It's all here just waiting for you to relax. Look out the south facing windows and you see an abundance of mature palm trees with vistas and views of the turquoise blue Gulf. The Beach is a mere 50 or so steps away from this studio. You can park your car in its dedicated south of 30-A private park space. You're less than one mile away from Seaside and Watercolor, all an easy walk or bike ride close by. You can even arrange for beach chairs to be waiting for you in either direction south of the Hip Heidiway. Public beach accesses are located on Dothan Avenue, east of the home or Andalusia Avenue which is located to the west of this space as well. A quaint corner kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster oven too. Everything is included to help you make perfect and tasty snacks for breakfast, lunch or a light dinner. It was decorated cute and spacious. The area felt nice and safe. The hosts were thoughtful to have beach chairs and bikes available (we didn't end up using the bikes). We walked everywhere, the location was central. Negative Points: The bed was saggy and uncomfortable. The kitchenette was super minimal (hotel sized mini-fridge with a freezer cubby that was all iced over). There was only a toaster oven, mini-microwave, and a perk coffeepot, so couldn't do much dining-in. The management company only provides one roll of toilet paper. Ridiculous. Please charge occupants another 1 and provide this essential, so they don't have to go to the store and buy a minimum 4 pack to make it through their stay. It was pretty clean except there was mold on the bottom of the shower door. Great secluded downstairs area for beach items, fantastic storage upstairs. Hot water and cool AC. Nice beach chairs and overall privacy was great. At least 3 walkable beach access areas and a quick bike ride to the Seagrove Market Village Cafe. Cons: Getting in and out of the parking area was challenging at times (but you will have this issue at any place that you have to park directly on 30A). Probably about time to get a new mattress and the bed frame was ironically dangerous! Both my husband and I ran into it/tripped over it multiple times. No onsite laundry. The place was clean & roomy, the location in regards to beach access is amazing. Great location for a quiet stay near the beach. The downstairs nook with floats, chairs, and umbrella was really nice! Amazing beach with white sand and clear water.
