Good location right off freeway

Posted Feb 5, 2018
This is my second stay at this hotel. I find the front desk staff very helpful. The room was basic. Good Wi-Fi connection. The carpeting in the room and halls is dingy. There is a peculiar odor reminiscent of smoke disguising room deodorizer, I did not want to take my shoes off. The sheets smelled like bleach, which is good. The coverlet is well used and not very welcoming. The controls for the television seem to have an oily over coating. I would put a clear sleeve on it to monitor the germs. Overall, nothing was very fresh feeling. There appeared to be a homeless person sitting in the lobby and a gentleman was smoking in the parking lot in front of a van, which made me want to hurry inside as it was after dark. The breakfast counter was clean and tidy. The basics: white bread, processed sweet rolls and muffins, corn flakes, waffle batter, etc. I appreciated the coffee maker in the room. I was not looking for a resort style accommodation, a brief stop over on my drive north, this is certainly a no frills option

Thin walls

Posted Jan 30, 2018
Pros: The staff were helpful. The room was clean.
Cons: Insulate the walls. Improve the breakfast room menu and hours - at least till 10 on a Sunday.
Location: It is near Sebastopol - wonderful town to visit and explore.
There were problems - starting with a ticking sound in the bathroom, possibly a leak behind the wall or a drain pipe - who knows? Unfortunately, the room had super thin walls and I was awoken at 2:30 a.m. by four people arriving and talking full voice in an adjacent room, laughing and keeping me up. I wasn't sure where it was coming from, just that it sounded like there was no insulation between my wall and their's. After they finally settled down, I could hear someone snoring, and I resorted to ear plugs. In the morning with much less sleep than I needed, the breakfast area was in need of an upgrade - no orange juice, thin coffee, etc... and they shut it down at 9:30 on a Sunday morning.

Nice hotel for a good price, especially when it comes with a great variety of breakfast.

Good enough

Posted Dec 28, 2017
Continental breakfast was disappointing. There isn’t an elevator. The individual heating/cooling system in the room was loud and inefficient. There aren’t enough amenities. But it’s good enough if you’re looking for a convenient and relatively inexpensive place to lay your head.

Nice clean place to stay

Posted Dec 18, 2017
For the category of motel and price point, this is one of the nicest places I have experienced. They don't have the nicest exercise equipment or the most gourmet food, but it is always neat, clean, and the staff is incredibly sweet & helpful, especially Heather- she's been here for years and I have seen her several times while staying here over the past 2-3 years for work.

Problems

Posted Nov 23, 2017
Microwave and coffee maker had no outlet to use. Kinda ridiculous to move the microwave onto bed to plug in.

Hotel is Ok

Posted Oct 11, 2017
Pros: The location and the price.
Cons: The breakfast menu.
Location: There is a nearby supermarket and do nut store that are delicious and cheap.
The hotel is ok including the locattion. But breakfast is tiring because there is no variety. The room is not sound proof so that you can hear the noise outside especially the noise in the next room.
