This hotel is a hidden GEM, definitely recommend your stay in this beautiful and quaint hotel. It is something out of a movie, The garden is beautiful. The staff is amazing, and the breakfast buffet was great.

I loved the garden, cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. Disliked furniture and decorations in my room which were way too modern for Hotel Casa del Marques.

Great, but some rooms are not.
All the good things that most travelers have said are true. It’s beautiful, friendly, service is good, great location, easy parking. We did not like our room on the 2nd floor at all. It was small, dark, windowless, and the air conditioning was not reliable. The bathroom was fine, but water pressure was low and the hair dryer is not very strong. The room has a good coffee maker. Bed was comfortable. The common areas are lovely and so is the small garden courtyard. The mosquitos mean business - just came from the drugstore in Bilbao because I have two nasty bites on my face that won’t go away. They should replace the room safe. If you get a better room and use insect repellent if there r mosquitos when you are there you will love it.

The property itself was built in Medieval times. It is a fun experience to stay in the facility. I did have trouble getting the air conditioner to turn on during the night and I got a little warm. The staff was very welcoming. We had a lovely breakfast in the beautiful gardens. By the time we arrived, there was no hotel parking spaces left so we were instructed to park in the public parking. It was free overnight but requires payment by 10 AM

A gem of a hotel
Wonderfull small hotel in a beautiful small town with special flavour. Hotel is an old nobleman's house with excellent service and very friedly staff. Been there twice and will certainly will come back in the future. This is a GEM do not miss it.

It is made from an 1200s marquise residence in the centere of a very old village. It is built of hand shaped stone blocks. The garden has oranges and beautieful flowere all about.

lovely old hotel and town.
A beautiful hotel to stay at. As we were late in the season the restaurant was closed which meant we sampled other places. There was some noise from adjoining rooms which was surprising as an old property would have thick walls. The garden was the best of the places we stayed throughout our holiday. he only problem was that they took payment in pounds without asking and it cost me £27 extra from payment from my euro account.

Lovely place
This is a lovely, historic hotel. Beautiful flower-laden places to sit and relax. Only 15 rooms and only those with a room are allowed in...makes for a quiet, tranquil place. More of an experience than a place to stay.

I felt like I was a guest in a lovely old home with dark wooden beams, stone walls, an extremely welcoming staff. There were several comfortable sitting rooms. The bar and small restaurant are kept exclusively for the hotel residents. Staying there was a top notch experience.

It was a unique property from a former Marquis residence. It has been decorated and furnished as it was. A lovely garden and staff very helpful. Parking is on site. It is right in the heart of town
