Other than the smell of stagnating water in the bathroom and a slow-to-drain sink, the room and bathroom were very nice. Good shower with excellent water pressure. It was tough to get to the right temperature to sleep as the duvet was too warm for the room temperature. The staff was absolutely lovely.

Great hotel
This hotel is in a quiet area just a short walk from the many shops, bars and restaurants in the old town and the seafront. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed and was very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful with great coffee. I would definitely stay again.

A view of Hotel Art.
The hotel was in a residential area so near to restaurants, bars and the shopping centre. It is a small hotel but when you walk through the main door you feel you are in a different country. The decor was amazing. Car parking needs to be reserved as cars need to go into a narrow lift to the underground carpark. Plenty of choice for breakfast. No bar or restaurant.

Although tucked out of the way, the hotel was quite close to the city centre and easily walkable via street escalators. Our room had an enormous balcony with a fabulous view.

what a great place
I booked this place as overnight stay before the ferrry , checked the reviews and what a great place Great staff, great location walking distance from places to eat, main street, loverly view and room great as so was breakfast , tip pay locally for breakfast not on booking sites as cheaper. dont be but of by the wak down to seafront as their is a lift and escalators down between the buildings right outside , and parking !!! this little gem has it all

Great staff
Nice little hotel. Very central. Free parking which is unusual in northern Spain. The best thing about the hotel, tho, are the staff. Wally and Eveline are very warm, friendly, and engaging people. Always smiling and ready to help. We requested a small fridge in our room and it arrived immediately. We asked for an ice pack to be frozen for our cooler when we travelled on and it was done. Very accomodating. And they both soeak perfect english.

Great staff with good view from the room
Great staff, I had a nice experience when I check in, they did give me very useful information about the area. The room I stayed had a nice bay view with a big terrace. The one thing we did not enjoy much was the white color of the room light which is not a very good choice for a cozy environment.

Lovely boutique hotel
Close to the lift and outside escalators, we found it easy to find. Close to the centre where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel is well decorated and we were greeted by a friendly front desk. Our room was lovely with a spacious balcony overlooking the sea, comfortable bed, powerful shower, really lovely room and happy to stay again and recommend.

Great views from a wonderful patio. Lovely statues on the patios. Great position to walk to the old town. Parking not so clever and quite tight. Overall the hotel was a nice experience.

Hotel was clean & staff were friendly. A small & unique *** hotel. It was a steep down to the harbour but escalators for the uphill climb😀back to the hotel-would be unsuitable for the less mobile.

You cannot go wrong with Hotel Art Santander. I stayed here for the first time in 2020 and had to come back. Very conveniently located in the city, within walking distance from good restaurants and bars. The breakfast is varied and healthy and the views of the bay are fantastic. I will definitively check in again on my next visit.

Stylish in Santander!
Contemporary, cool vibe with interesting art installations throughout. Great location; street escalators and elevator nearby helped manage long trek back up hill. Nice rooms; very clean. Friendly staff spoke English and were very helpful.

A great hotel!
We had a one night’s stay in this lovely hotel. The staff were friendly & really helpful with the parking as they had reserved us a space upon request. The room was spotlessly clean with modern furniture & furnishings. Air conditioned too which was much needed as we were in a middle of a heatwave! Breakfast had a wide selection of drinks with both hot & cold food options. This hotel comes highly recommended & one we would return to in the future.

Small but perfectly formed
The hotel is small and tgerefore so are the rooms but the bed was comfortable and everywhere was very clean. The breakfast was excellent, seeved in a quirky dining room. The art was interesting and tfe staff are friendly and helpful.

Quirky hotel above the main part of the city but nice walks down and escalators to help climb the hill back,free parking in garage . Staff were great . AC wasnt working properly but due to get serviced the day we checked out. Mini bar and extra coffees ,only a euro for drinks . Very enjoyable stay.

we stayed here for 2 nights. the room had amazing harbour view and the room opens into a large patio/balcony area. parking is on-site and FREE. walking distance to many cafes n restaurants the front reception had good recommendations for local restaurants, and was very helpful. the aircon can be a bit noisy at night as it is an older hotel. but overall, we enjoyed our stay.
