This seems to be the best hotel in Santander, and we were given an upgrade to the top floor penthouse (not listed on Expedia) - elevator to 10'th floor, and then walk up a stairway. Location is excellent - right outside the hotel was "Christmas celebration central" - various activities and lights. Parking under the hotel. Hotel dining room was very good (elegant, good food, etc.). Coffee shop okay. Internet connection good. Seems better than 4*. I would stay here again.

The bedrooms specific the suites are in need of new carpets drapes furniture etc is not bad but it could be much very for the price charge … the service The girls and boys at the front desk are the best in the world!!

Hotel convenient for ferry terminal. Parking available but underground. You go down in a car elevator but going up is via a circular road which is very very tight. We have a large suv and it was horrendous to ger out. The room had peeling wallpaper but for an overnight stop was fine.

My second stay at Hotel Bahía. This is perhaps the most prominent hotel in Santander and, with so many floors and a very prominent sign at the top, is very easy to find. In being right in the city centre, near the train and bus stations and just across the road from the ferry port, it is perhaps the most convenient hotel too. The public spaces and the rooms are immaculate and my room on both occasions was the most spacious hotel room I've ever stayed in. Probably because I stayed off-peak, I felt like I was getting excellent value for money. Customer service was friendly and efficient. Even one of the busy cleaning staff thanked me for staying and wished me well as they saw me exit my room with my luggage at the end of my stay. Apart from this being a superb hotel, Santander is a beautiful and safe city with plenty to see and do and with good transport links.

Nice hotel and good location. English only spoken by front desk staff. Bar does not serve cocktails even though they have liquor as staff has no idea how to make them. Only wine and beer.

Really great hotel .. I’ve stayed several times on business. Luckily my company pays so I don’t worry too much about the cost, but everything else is great .. really good selection at breakfast too

Lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable. The restaurant and cafeteria were very useful as the menus were in English as well as Spanish. We had a delicious meal the first evening and a really exceptional breakfast the next morning. It’s directly opposite the Ferry Terminal so easy to get to the Car Ferry. If you are driving the hotel is well signposted coming into Santander. The garage is underground at the side of reception and a porter opens the electric door and takes you, in your car, down to the parking spaces, then escorts you up to reception. Very well organised ! We will certainly stay there next year.

I arrived last minute and searched the site for a hotel. I drove by it and immediately knew I would want to spend the night there. The view was just spectacular and breath taking. Staff were very helpful in helping me understand the neighborhood and made recommendations which were nice.
