A night in l'Aquila
The hotel is conveniently located down the hill from the old town. The room was clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was quite OK. Overall, the price was fair for what we got.

A conveniently-located, efficient place to stay .
A business hotel right outside the center of the city so don't expect a lot of 'character' but it is efficient, has indoor parking, and worked fine. Water pressure in the shower was very good. Staff was helpful with anything I needed. Location was very convenient to get into the center of L'Aquila.

Really nice hotel, clean, good service. The room feels a little outdated. L’Aquila is still recovering from the devastating earthquake but there is a lot going on in this city and the scenery is simply spectacular.

Friendly staff. Great service. Nice beds. Free parking. Good breakfast. A/C wasn't working; only heating - temperature was not pleasing in room. Walkable to city center.

What else can you ask for?
Hotel Federico is very clean, roomy, comfortable and walking distance to Fontana Luminosa and the Castello. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Good quality breakfast. Service oriented wait staff and welcoming!🙃

Good new design hotel
Really modern hotel, friendly staff, good location with 5-10 minutes to the old town of L'Aquila. Design of the hotel was new and modern, had all the amenities and some comfort features as electric curtains. Breakfast was good Italian style with made-to-order coffee and sweet and savory pastries. Parking is very convenient with a lift in the parking garage. Staff really friendly and give lots of recommendations for the area.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Hotel Federico II in L'Aquila. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was professional and very helpful. My only recommendation would be to request a room on the 1st floor because the a/c in the higher rooms does not cool as well as the lower rooms does. Aside from that, the hotel is new, clean, and the daily breakfast is fantastic. Great location, too. Just wonderful!

ANicehotel friendly staff and a free car park. unfortunatly L’Aquila after the 2009 earthquake is still a disaster area. I hope for the people of L’Aquila life one day will be back to normal

Enjoyable stay, will return and recommend
My stay was very pleasant. The staff spoke good English and were very professional. My room was clean and comfortable. This is not a complaint, but it would be helpful to have tea making facilities in the room. The majority of Italian hotels do not offer this, or the opportunity to pay a little extra. Being English i love my tea.

Very nice place to stay near il Forte Spagnolo
Very nice place to stay in the vicinity of the castle Forte Spagnolo. The rooms are in brand new conditions, rather large, and impeccably clean. The bathrooms are equipped in a hairdryer, bidet, and modern shower with many options. The shower may be a bit small for large people. Free breakfast offers a wide variety of croissants, pastry, jellies, and fruit to choose from. Excellent choice in L'Aquila.

No restaurant available other than for breakfast. The restaurant that is indicated on the web information is only for large groups. The air conditioning in the rooms that is also indicated on the web information is only available in the summer--not for the 80+ degree F days we were there in June.

Wonderful Small Hotel
We found the best small hotel, and the price was right for us. We only needed a stopover en route to our destination, but we could have stayed much longer and enjoyed the hotel. L'Aquila appears to be struggling to renew itself from the 2009 earthquake. Fred. II is a light in this city's dark time!!

Very nice hotel. Good location. Friendly staff
Hotel Federico 11 was a very nice experience. They have a very lovely breakfast buffet which is complete with many choices included in the price. The staff was friendly and helpful but the front desk could be a little more helpful. Out of the three people we dealt with one was excellent and went out of his way to give us all the help we wanted. The young lady seemed a little stressed and rushed when we checked in. We would stay there again.

Pleasant Hotel
Nice enough place to stay in a town under construction. The receptionist recommended very good supper place for which we were appreciative since there are no eating places close to the hotel

Struttura Alberghiera situata in ottima posizione rispetto al centro storico della Città. Parcheggio gratuito per i clienti, colazione normale non troppo abbondante, struttura nel complesso sistemata bene ma camera molto ma molto rumorosa. Ho ascoltato con piacere la gente nel corridoio, poi lo scarico del wc del vicino ed anche il bidet. Insomma non appropriato per un Hotel

Hotel veramente in una posizione ottima in pochi minuti si arriva al centro a piedi. Stanze pulitissime e con tutti confort. Noi personalmente siamo capitati in una stanza un po’ fredda ma ci sta perché fuori faceva freddissimo ma lo staff subito è arrivato in soccorso alzandoci i riscaldamenti e fornendoci di una stufa alogena. Colazione fornitissima e con prodotti veramente di ottica qualità.
