Nice hotel and staff.

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Pros: Good value for money. Within easy reach of metro stations to go sightseeing but also had a good choice of cafes, restaurants and shops.
Cons: May be the decor and the bathroom could do with re-tiling as a few were broken. Also had to buy a new charger for my iphone as my adaptor was a 3 pin.
Location: Very interesting as it is situated between two very different streets. One popular the other more upmarket. Choices of cafes, restaurants and shops
The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, within easy walking distance to,shops, restaurants and cafe's together with 3 metro stations. Very close to the Santiago Bernabe'u Stadium if you are a football fan. My single room had all the comforts including a double bed. It was clean and towels were changed daily. The Reception staff were extremely helpful and obliging and spoke excellent English. I was very pleased with the hotel and consider it to be very good value for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, 3-4 min walk to tetuan metro which you could take to the centre of Madrid (sol and gran via) The hotel is located in a calm area, so I would recommend it if you would like to go far away from all the centre's noise.

Excellent Value

A no-frills hotel, but clean and with a good breakfast bar. Room size compact but not confining. Considering the savings of staying slightly off the beaten track, this is a Best Value for those willing to take a short stroll to public transportation, shopping & dining (which in Madrid isn't a problem once you learn the layout).

Lovely staff; cheap but very basic

Air conditioning cycled off and on and couldn't be controlled from the room. So at times it was freezing and other times hot and stuffy. Staff was lovely and helpful, however. Continental buffet breakfast was quite tasty.

An extremely good overnight stay

The Hotel is very clean but does not have an evening restaurant or bar. There is a very good bar for an evening drink next door and plenty of restaurants close by. We walked about 5 minutes to a very good Tai restaurant. Breakfast was a full continental with the addition of fried bacon.
