This was the worst hotel experience that I have had in 35 years of traveling either for business or pleasure. I am a former U.S. Air Force veteran and retired State Department Foreign Service Officer. One of the front desk receptionist yelled at me at the top of her vocal range. Simply because I asked for assistance after patiently waiting for her to register 2 new guest, even though I was already a registered guest at the hotel. She saw me standing there waiting but did not acknowledge me at all i.e. sir, I'll be with you in a minute. After she finished registering the other guests, which to a while because she was very slow, and not proficient at her job. She still did not offer to assist me. I said excuse me and she turned her back to me. I called to her again saying excuse me, and then the third time I said excuse me are you ignoring me. She went from zero to a hundred in an instant and began yelling at me, at the top of her vocal range. She began with "what is your problem." I immediately asked to speak with her supervisor, but she continued her tirate telling me "you're not my father", "and you don't demand that I get my supervisor or anything of me", "I don't have a supervisor", and so on. I was stunned and in shock and it took a couple of minutes to gather myself. I matched her intensity and began speaking to her in the same manner she was speaking to me. I told her that I was going to call the police and I turned and walked outside because I was so upset.
