Pleasure of staying at the Plaza El Bosque Ebro. Is a comfortable, traditional decor, clean property. The lobby was small but well decorated. The staff are friendly, helpful and kind. I stayed in an executive suite, which was my favourite room of my stay and has a wow factor. The location is good for the Costenera Center & district (5-10 minutes walk). With lots of other amenities nearby.

We were very disappointed to find out once we arrived, that the sauna they advertise on Expedia is no longer available. The hotel was remodeled and it was removed. This is one of the main reasons we stay at this hotel False advertising,

Good location, clean, safe and quiet room, I was basically satisfied with this hotel. Amenities and the way they do housekeeping were different (not so perfect) from what we expect in the US, but I experienced no real inconvenience. Overall, again I was satisfied with the stay.

Housekeeping issues
In general services was ok. But seems the Hotel has a problem with the cleaning service. As you need to ask for housekeeping. The thing was when you asked for it, the room was never cleaned, and when you did not ask for housekeeping they cleaned the room. After requesting to clean the service was not good enough. Sad.

It’s a wonderful apartment. Well-kept. Amazing restaurant upstairs. My only complaint is how hard and uncomfortable the bed and pillows were. The sheets felt like plastic. I hardly slept the one night I was there.

When we arrived they gave us a dirty room, lukewarm water. My husband had an electric shock from a power point when trying to start the kettle.

The rooms are dark and feels dated. The shower door would not stay closed. The curtains were broken so I had to keep the curtains closed by pushing a chair up tight against them. The breakfast is limited for hot food.

Comfortable but rooms in need of modernising
The hotel reception and cafe/restaurant are lovely and well looked after. The room I got, not so much. The bed was huge and very comfortable, and everything was clean, but a charitable description of the room would be "tired". The room was in need of a refresh and renovation - the bathroom in particular needed the shower and mouldy sealant replaced. The breakfast was just plates of prepared food under cling-film. The roof seating and pool were great for seeing around Santiago though and overall, it was decent value for the price.
