Good location, mediocre hotel.
The hotel is in a good location if you can find it. It was definitely hard to find in the dark the forst time we arrived, but it is close to the sites. The wifi was awful. About 80% of the time, the wifi connection wasnt even giving us a signal. The breakfast was below average with just a boxed lunch.

Clean but needs some improvements
The cart of the hotel is not working and they don’t have a helper to carry your luggage. The hot water came out in brown color, had just one shampoo tube and one piece of soap. The AC was OK but the auto mode didn’t make the fan to stop when the temperature was cool enough. Clean and comfortable room and good care of the COVID 19 rules. The breakfast is properly located inside of the refrigerator.

Great downtown location very close to the subway station Moneda and to many other means of public transportation. Also lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

Right in the heart of the city, this hotel was the perfect spot for getting anywhere. The staff was very attentive and helpful and the breakfast was delicious! Taxis, subway or busses were nearby as was a full supermarket which was helpful as we had a kitchen in our room. Also lots of sights were walkable. I highly recommend RQ for you, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Even though they have rooms available staff makes you wait until 3pm for check in. They may save a few dollars in utilities but makes the tired customer very upset. I was for check in at 10am I understood, very early, but i came back around 2pm and still had to wait. I have traveled a lot and most of the hotels let's you check in earlier knowing you are tired .

Location
The location is excellent. There are two metal front gates with security guards, next to government building. The place is safe. Breakfast is good with fruits, cereals, breads etc. Location is excellent and convenient,next to metro.

The pool was not open until December however we had not been made aware of that before arriving and it was the main reason we chose to stay at this hotel. The bathroom floor also had lots of hairs over it, although the rest of the room seemed clean enough. We also found a hair in the fresh chopped fruit at breakfast which was off putting to say the least. Overall a bit of a disappointing experience.

I like the place that I booked another 3 days stay. Just wish the pool was open all year long, but seems to be the same in all hotels

I didn’t realize that the hotel turn off all the lights at 10:30pm to 5:30am for energy saving, I was worried and thought they were out of power, the whole room is black can’t see anything hurt my self twice going to the washroom in the middle of the light. Should advice the customer when check in that they wold shut down the power. I was all worried that it was out of power because the necktie morning I had to go to the airport. At 5:00 am I took the elevator downstairs to the reception and ask for flash light to pack my luggage as soon as the elevator door closed it was dark black couldn’t see anything . I hurt myself again and at 5:30am the lights were on, the hotel should advice us that they turn the power off for the whole building so we would not be worried and did not had a good sleep that day.

Except to say that it was clean & central nothing else outstanding about this hotel! They forgot to tell us that the main gate from street entrance closed at 11pm! Had to go around a side entrance with questionable characters hanging around! Loved the city itself, surrounded by amazing mountains! but if you can, hire driver to take you out of it to visit wineries! Absolutely wonderful countryside! Won’t regret the extra money it might cost!

Great place to stay in Santiago, Chile. Very clean and safe to stay. Right beside the building, there is a Large Convenient Store and we could buy wine to fruits. We asked reasonable price restaurant nearby hotel, staff even out of the building to directing us to get there. One problem is we arrived Santiago Airport early in the morning and arrived hotel 9am but the RQ Santiago check-in policy was very strict and we could not check in until 3pm. Fortunately, hotel stored our luggage until 3pm and we could take city tour in Santiago. Thank you for help

A Santiago visit
The hotel was in a great location. We were not aware that we could buy passes for the Hop on shop off bus at the hotel. We wasted so much time looking for the stops! The hotel was good. Breakfast was great. The room was well used and very tiny. The bathroom fixtures(tap) were all loose. Shower was dangerous to get in and out of. Wifi not very reliable

Located behind the main road in a square area. This area is locked up at night so best ask about entry if out at night. We managed to get into the square via another hotel. Amazing views if on the upper floor. Very good breakfast

Front desk very helpful even gave us a blip card too use during our stay. After cleaning the room, the supervisor came to double check we are satisfied. The breakfast is pretty good too. Location is excellent, only 3 min to metro. Since we are at the 19th floor, traffic is not noisy.
