Great Hotel

Staff very attentive and friendly. Management promptly handled and concerns or issues. Worth the money and loved my stay for my 25th wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend!!! Near town and shops. 5* rating 👍

Disappointing, especially given the high prices!

Day 1; requested ice cubes by calling front desk, no ice ever delivered. No hair dryer in room and no place in bathroom to plug in a hair dryer or curling iron for my wife. Room lighting was poor, clothes storage was poor. Promised a 15:00 check-in, did not get into room until 15:40. On the last night we requested a 3:45 AM wake up call with the woman at the front desk; no wake up call ever came. Luckily we had set our phones as a backup.

Excellent and comfortable hotel

Too far from everything

Pros: Lobby.
Cons: See above experiences: bathroom, food cost, room view, staff.
Location: Inconvenient location.
Checked into "deluxe" room. It was facing tenement housing. I knew a great view from hill was on other side of building but it was fully booked (and more expensive). I wish Expedia ad made it clear about the difference in cost being such a difference in view. No rooftop lounge or viewing areas in old hotel. Needs upgrades in bathroom. Beverage clerk walked into my room two times in a row without knocking to stock mini bar right after I checked in (when I was trying to recover from flight). Food (just good) in dining room way overpriced for portions compared to fabulous food all over Lisbon. So didn't try breakfast. Look for Trip Advisor stickers in restaurant windows if you want exceptional food and ambiance. Front desk staff & concierge are not helpful to a newcomer. Getting info is like pulling teeth. Hotel is on top of hill north of city leaving three choices daily: take taxi in busy traffic; take metro or; walk. Which means you cannot pop back to change for dinner and pop back to city easily. Walking down & up hill (even from Metro station) is an ordeal after the novelty of your first venture out. Taxis can only move as fast as rest of cars, tourists and pedestrians allow. After you see the one manicured park with 3 monuments, there is no other reason to want to be up the hill where hotel is located. Maid took cash I left out in room. Maybe she thought it was a tip. Either way, unacceptable.

Nice hotel central to a lot of attractions

Hotel is well located and lots to do and see within walking distance though some are uphill. A short walk to the river via lots of attractions. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel is in good condition but some furnishings a little worn now. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Good hotel, good location

Pros: Good location and nice bar
Good location. The only downside is that that the pool and spa are not on the same premises as the hotel.

Location: The hotel is located in front of park Edouardo VII and near the metro station and taxi station.
I was very happy to stay there. The and the taxi station. staff is very nice and helpfull. The hotel is located in front of the park.

Nice hotel with excellent staff

Only 1 Concierge who was excellent but v busy ( Alvaro) Reception staff super Philpa and Carolina Breakfast chaotic and kitchen orders extremely slow
