DO NOT COME HERE

Took a family vacation for a week there. My younger son and I got sick on the second day. Had to call room service multiple times each day for fresh towels and change of bedding since we were both feverish. They cater to Russian tourists although i tipped well. We are of Dominican decent and got treated like trash. I guess we got confused with the locals. There were 6 of us so i spent thousands. Never again will they see a red cent out of me or my friends. A week later we are still sick. Caught an Amoeba from food or water, currently in treatment. My son has missed a week of school and i have missed work. I paid for 2 double rooms and got full or maybe even twin beds. We are big people so it was VERY uncomfortable. Showed my reservation at the people at reception and front desk and they looked at me like I had 5 heads got no up grade, no appology nothing. VERY DISAPPOINTED. IF I COULD GET MY $$ back I would.

Close to the beach. Close to airport.

Upon my arrival the room I requested and paid for was not available. I had to stay in another room not that didn't meet my expectations until the next day check in time. The new room assigned was not of my satisfaction. Rooms are not well maintain. Food it's just ok. The spa is very good. I visited this hotel about 8 years ago and its Maintanence have declined. The reception area is poorly maintained.

Very disappointing!

Pros: only the room clean & comfortable & some of the outside set up amenities.
Cons: the clerks & servants very unfriendly & not helpful.
We booked a one night . When we arrived they couldn't find the reservation we had booked & had confirmation thru Expedia. The receptionist was rude & kept us waiting for like 2 hours in lobby. Wouldn't give us a room until their messed up system, show the confirmation, although Expedia sent an email with confirmation, they still asked for a Hold on our credit card until the reservation drop, which took about 12 hours+. There is no WIFI anywhere but kept telling us to go to the Pool area & try. I found out they do that to sell WIFI a pop up kept coming up every time to buy Wi FI. drinks & food are inclusive, wine is vinegar & food is blend. Only thing that was good was the room set up. Other then that, will never go back.

Not worthy to pay the price

It was the worst experience ever. I have stayed there before and I never complained until now. Reception wasn't real help with the problem I had to deal with the door, changing keys up to 5 times with and wait for hours to solve the problem. The food wasn't as great at before and attention is very terrible

disappointment -to Hamaca Belive Boca Chica

We experiece very poor services, room needs major improvement especially the bathroom and mattress...pool needs to be clean daily, food display should be covered so no mosquitoes sit on it.. no cats should be allowed at the buffet court or in the resort..beach towels needs upgrading...hookers smoke should not be allowed in the resort especially exposed to younger toddlers n teens...

Sad experience

First off, the hotel has great security and is right on the ocean and that is beautiful. The lobby is lovely, but the room was absolutely not as all the photos showed. My room was large and had a great balcony that had a beautiful view of the ocean. However, there were bug guts all over the walls and the room smelled of mildew real baldy. The thermostat only had two settings, off or Antarctica!! The bed was gross, I took photos of the mildewed mattress! The pillows stunk so much that I had to put several of my t-shirts over them to block the smells. We made sure to not be in the room as much as possible even though I got sick two days into vacation. If you want a nice room, then you must pay extra for the ones that are pictured. The pools were not heated and were actually quite cold and dirty, which is extremely surprising since they close down at 6pm every night for "cleaning". The hot tub was just as cold as the pools and just a dirty. It was very disappointing. Granted, if you are drunk the whole time there you wouldn't really care or know how unclean the pools were. I didn't drink due to being sick. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about and I would not return for the food. I purchesed two spa services and loved the execution of the massage and mud wrap, however I did not appreciate that the massage therapist allowed for the room door to stay open most of the sessions and thanked with another employee while working on me. It was loud and not relaxing at all.

Worst place and hotel ever!!! People are nice, love dominicans kind people!!! I used to be there all the time when it was own by another company and it was gorgeous

Close to beach, nice beach.

Hotel Administration are bad and slow. Hotel is falling apart due to maintenance issues. If you stay in superior rooms then you will be okay otherwise you must lower your expectations very much. Beach Towel guy at the beach is excellent helpful and VIP Lounge Jennifer, Anna, Joanne are so nice and trying to help you if you have any issues with your stay and Hotel but sometimes Hotel administrators slowing these people to do good job on your own. If you get great deal with the Hotel then it is good buy but otherwise I would think three times to stay at this hotel. VIP upgrade necessary if you looking normalize your stay. I must mention at the beach bar which is great bar at night is excellent with excellent bartender "Hose" he will try to please you whatever drinks you desire. Thanks "Hose".

Stayed here before it's very nice.

Pros: Close to airport and Santo Domingo.
Cons: Food could be a little better but it is good and acceptable.
Location: Close to airport and Santo Domingo. Shops nearby. Scuba and many fun activities available.
This hotel has good food and amenities. I like the shows, disco, food and beach. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Horrible.

Pros: Beach
Cons: Hotel structure needs maintenance and painting. Furniture needs to be changed - including the mattresses. Staff needs to be trained.
Location: Close proximity to Santo Domingo.
Hotel is dilapidated. Furniture is broken. Mattress is old - I got the most sever back pain ever. Staff is rude and unpleasant, and when they say they are going to do something - they don't. We asked for an extra pillow and never got it. They have hidden fees - beach towels and safe box are not included. Food was mediocre. Drinks taste like water. The only peasantry of this hotel is the beach. Beach was amazing - water was crystal clear and clean. Oh! Rafael from the pool bar was welcoming. The only one in the entire facility.
