We have stayed in this hotel multiple times and every time it gets worse. This will be the last time we stay here as the experience is not worth it. Poor Room Cleanliness, no hot water and Tons of mosquitos.

I frequent this hotel a lot in the pass years and I like over looking the courtyard. This visit I had a back superior king room. Very large room with a small television far away from the bed. Not ideal.

Ive stayed at Palacio several times. Ive never been disappointed. Its practically on Duarte road and so close to restaurants and the square. The taxis are on the corner also. If you want aircon, MAN this things works lol. I felt like an arctic ezplorer. Free parking which is a rare commodity.

Amazing Staff!
Little power issue, they corrected. The Management and staff were surperior, assiting tonevery need.MissingnthrnSauna and Gym, should probally just take that out. I was in 112 the jacuzzi tube worked just fine,with hot water. love this! Can't say enough about how professional the manager and staff were. I will come back!

I've been staying at the Palacio for many years. I have mixed feelings. Everything is hit or miss, some very good, and some not good at all -- from facilities maintenance, to facilities cleanliness, to the staff's attitudes and attentiveness. You can experience the full gamut during the same stay. I will stay here again, because of the good aspects. But this hotel could be so much more and better than it is with more consistent management.

It is in the Colonial zone, that comes with the old architecture. Staff was very nice and kind, room was clean. No issues during me and my family's stay.

This is my second stayed in this property the first time couple of years ago was excellent and that was one of reasons I decided to go back with my husband however, this time it was a horrible experience for us. The room we were in we found a cockroach and a rat. The staff were sorry about the experience but I couldn’t sleep all night. The experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

This property doesn’t have consistent hot water. The wifi only works in certain areas of the hotel and is very slow. They charge more than a lot of hotels around the area but the quality isn’t good. They are in need of a few upgrades. The pictures don’t match the room and when you book through Orbitz they never give you an upgrade, even though I am VIP, and your room is pretty much downgraded. I paid for a superior room and got a basic room. I feel like management is not being honest to their customers that book through this site. However the front desk staff, cleaning, dining and bell hops are all amazing. Hotel could really use new management or ownership because it’s not a great as it should be and for what I am paying. Also the tv’s are very old as well.

The bedroom was not cleaned properly. There was not hot water, therefore I had to take a shower at night using cold water. In the morning, I had to leave really early and ended up taking another cold shower because I was in a harry and had no time to complain. On my way out, I told the front desk that there was no hot water and she just said "I am sorry" (in spanish). I don't think they really gave a zit. The hotel was dirty inside, with some cockroaches around. I will never stay there and I would not recommend it at all. I paid about $130.00 for that garbage. I am really upset about it.

My wife and I first stayed at this hotel in February 2016. At that time we were extremely happy with our stay. Very clean hotel in a good state of repair. Excellent breakfast buffet. Great pool area. We stayed there again in January 2019 and again had a great experience. This most recent stay in August 2023 was very disappointing. The hotel is very run down and dirty. There is a long list of repairs and renovations that need to be done to restore this place to what it once was. Frankly the list of items is too long for me to write here. Bottom line, stay away!

There was no absolutely no Wi-Fi during our stay and staff kept telling us that there was a technician working on it which was a lie, they were being dishonest which is disappointing. The toilet in the room was not flushing and it was disgusting after a few uses. Parking is pretty tough and small in here and you need to leave your keys at the reception desk so they can move your vehicle around. Otherwise, staff was courteous aside from the breakfast dining room attendant who was abrupt and seem annoyed that we arrived shortly before 10am, however, we were given a paper that stated breakfast ended at 11am so it wasn’t our fault. The hotel is also centrally located in Zona Colonial where you are close to everything in either direction.
