Beautiful View

My trip was a disaster because their was no hot water,lights were going on/off,paid for internet that did not work,and the food was terrible. The buffets was only opened certain hours of the day. My entire stay consisted of eating bread and butter. Not at all what i expected this to be.

The beach was nice but the area is bad.

The beach was nice but not much to do but be on the beach. The food was not very good and drinks were very small but you could have as many as you wanted. The electric goes out several times a day but it was only out for a minute or two. The AC was not working when we arrived but they fixed after several hours. Hotel staff had trouble with communicating in English, hotel does not offer much info about grounds and area. Surrounding area is very low class and a little scary.

The most beautiful beach is right in front of the

The people is friendly. The hotel is in between the beach and the town. The food at the hotel is good, but you pretty much get the same food everyday, that can be tiring. You do get all the drinks you want through the entire day. The staff is very friendly and they do their best so that you can have the most comfortable experience in Boca Chica.

Great beach location that's about it

The main thing I love about this resort is the location. Nestled right on the beach. The beach is amazing as you can go far out in the water while standing due to the shallowness and me not knowing how to swim. Location : The area in which the hotel is located looks super sketchy and run down. The receptionist spoke little to no English but he got the job done. My boyfriend and I were escorted to our room by a very nice gentleman who's name I cannot remember. He gave us the walk through of the property. Room: If you do not like the stairs this is not the hotel for you. We had to walk up two flights of stairs before arriving to our room. We had 2 double beds. The room was clean but did not like the flowers they put all over the bed and the bathroom ad it had made a mess. The balcony was located in the best spot. Facing the entertainment stage, pool and part of the beach. Cable offered variety of channels and clear picture. Food: Absolutely positively terrible and I am being as honest as possible. One might say I am picky with food but the food was distasteful. Buffet did not offer a large variety and many times the trays were empty so you had to eat what was there. My boyfriend and I pretty much ate bread for the 2 nights we were there. During lunch they made burgers and hotdogs and even that was distasteful. Entertainment : What entertainment?! Be prepared to not understand anything if you do not speak Spanish.

Hotel Staff- receptionist

I paid for a villa superior with an ocean view and was told when I checked in that it was for a standard room with a pool view. This was very frustrating since it was 6:30am and I was very exhausted. I then was told I could not check in until 3pm. Prior to my trip it was discussed I would pay an additional $50 for an early check in, which was not a problem. However the receptionist gave us a hard time saying the room was not ready. When we finally got a room, it was not a villa superior, it was a standard room with a pool view. The guy who helped with the bags went downstairs to find out if their was an error, however he never returned. We had to go down 4 flights of stairs with our luggage and thankfully their was another receptionist who greatly helped us. His name is Ernesto. I am not pleased with check-in process. After a long flight, the last thing I want to do is wait for 2 and 1/2 hours for a room that I paid for. I was not asking to be accommodated. I wanted to check in my room that I paid for.

Great place to stay

I like to said that upon arrival it took 10 minutes to get register and our room in very good condition.All the personnel very friendly especially anabel and all the servers,the room was always being cleaned with towels.The food needs more vaneeds,security personnel on their feet when they observed unwanted people around the area.

Complete disappointment .Unforgettably bad, Sorry!

Pros: Nothing -well the room was not that bad-one can say was pleasant. The working staff, OK. but you get to feel sorrow for them, good people; But like in every third world country, the ones who are on top, step on the ones below. I encourage Expedia to send someone there for 2-3 days and take a real Chef with him and you will see that the Chef will ask to close that "cooking place". I'm planning to go to Bavaro or Punta Cana again to see if that hasn't change since the last time I was there.Not gonna keep writing, but I could more.Anyways I lost my money miserably or think I donated it for charity. I Expect that tomorrow someone from Expedia will call me, so I can talk and explain better, Thank You, Osvaldo
Cons: No way to fix this. Front office staff inept completely. Amenities non-existent .Two supposed "A la cart" restaurant non-existent. Hotel restaurant, the worst food I've ever seen in my life.It seems that none of the Supervisors at Expedia have never been there, because if they do, they wouldn't advertise this kind of hotels. Biggest mistake in my 69 years of age. I've been at Bavaro a few years ago and it was awesome. and thought I would visit a different place in DR, and just know something new, but couldn't imagine myself that this would be so depressing.Got stomach sick that I thought I would die there.Had to buy some medicine in a Pharmacy and didn't eat Since Sunday- got there Saturday afternoon- till Thursday. Friday I felt better and had to go out and buy some food out of the Hotel and praying to God to bring me back to Ft. Laudl. safe and sound on Saturday.. Well, anyways I'm going to call you tomorrow and see if I can talk to a Supervisor there. I'm not a first time client of yours. I went last year to Barcelona thru you for a Mediterranean Cruise. and use you most of the times for my trips. You should have record of this. Osvaldo

Dont stay there crap hotel

Food was terrible to lit had a two foot rag in the tank and would not flush .shower water stinks water bottle is far away from rooms and you get five gal for twenty rooms view was ok but teach all over the place . Bohio need replacing and much more .Rack rate is 365.00 for two way out of control .

Dessert not good staff very nice food good

Pros: Reception staff very nice also others location not too bad
Cons: The dessert not good very dry pastries people harassing u on the beach and more choices of snacks I don't eat beef and that is all they have
Location: Location not bad some shops close by and they have a very nice excursion from the hotel
Nice location internet not good electricity keep going off restaurant on premise close only 1 functioning staff very nice room are not what I expected , room looks very old weren't happy with mines

Close to the beach!

Pros: Friendly people, close to the beach!
Cons: Maybe the menu should change a little bit, more typical food from Dominican Republic
Location: Small stores where you can get basic things, we rented a car to get to other places
Is a good hotel, people who work there are so friendly. They are so helpful when you need something. The hotel is located in a nice area where you can move around.
