Great location but I’d never stay there again. Rooms need a renovation. Very nice cleaning lady but rooms are scary. Breakfast was ok. Front desk assisted with getting around but the hotel is rundown

The lady at the reception was extremely rude and unprofessional, was on phone whole time, did not send blankets after multiple reminder. We wanted to sleep early to catch early morning flight but simply couldn’t because of hours of delay in just getting the blankets and noise coming from the road. They like to honk even at night hours and this hotel is located at the most congested part of the town so constant loud noise will not let you sleep.

The mattress is too hard and old. The noise from the neighbor kept us up but reception, resolved it as soon as we reported it. The gym does not have a bathroom. Some of the equipment is broken and not functional. No towels in the gym no hand sanitizer in the gym otherwise good enough for a few nights.

The air conditioning was too cold and could not be turned down. It looked like a refrigerator, we couldn't sleep well because it was very cold. Besides, the hot water for bathing was not useful.

The pool area had a surprisingly nice ambiance and decor and the food/drinks were good too. Our waiter Wilson gave good service. Room was basic which was expected for the price in the area. Included breakfast was a nice perk. Cinnamon coffee hit the spot after a long night. Overall, good value.

I live the pool the club it was the best weekend of my life I enjoy the food to the casino. Must of all the staff was nice with me they answers my question I don speak Spanish but the put words together and make it works

The entire hotel lobby is a casino, which was not disclosed on the property description, meaning there really is no lobby space. My bathroom doir was missing a door handle, there was no hot water, and some times no water at all. The hitel is clearly past its prime with no investments even for basic maintenance.

When we arrived by 2:30 my husband was feeling sick and the person in the front desk did not allow us to get in to the room until 3 o'clock and we have to wait in the car, when in the check in said started at noon. After we wait and the room was giving that room was deplorable there was a big hole in the ceiling. Now we had to wait again for another room. Then at new room the hot water to shower was really low and occasionally there was none. Also there was no iron, I didn't see a refrigerator. There was nothing in the room shown as welcome the guess not even water. At the desk customer services they were not friendly.

The place might be a bit old, but the air conditioning is great! The Ramada is close to a grocery store, restaurants, metro station, public transportation (if you can figure it out) and other amenities. The back side of the Ramada is a good place to find small restaurants, but be carful at night. Communication is a key, and very little English was spoken. I would advise to use “Google translate”. However once the message got across, the workers did there best to help. Safety overall is good. There could be a person looking to provide services, but it’s is not pushed. Ugh!. Unlike Boca Chica. Yikes! The swimming pool is great with a restaurant attached. Swimming time closes at 6pm for residence. You will find people Swimming after 6pm, so who knows! It would help Ramada, if staff would smile more. Overall for the money and value it was good. I would recommend people to explore the area (Quisqueya), not at night.

Staff was horrible. Tried to charge me an excessive amount of money, claiming that I destroyed a towel because my baby wiped her hands that had chocolate on it. Would not give me a receipt for the money I paid for the towel.

This hotel needs improvement in several areas. The biggest issue I had while staying there was the wifi connection. I seemed to only have connection in the restaurant area on the 1st floor, my hotel room was on the 5th floor and the wifi almost never worked there. Also, the hotel shower almost never had running hot water and the bath tub was uneven and poorly constructed, these are both issues that I reported to the hotel maintenance tech.

Affordable place to stay in capital.
The hotel, located in the center of the city, was really clean. The room were maintained each day. I loved the breakfast every mornings and we felt secure cause the casino in the hotel has security inside and outside.

The hotel is in a good location but there are a few things that need to be improved. When I woke up there was a note under the door that there would be no water from 9 am to 11 am 2 hours without water it was 12:30 pm and the water was not coming. I had to go out without bathing. Another problem was the breakfast, it ran out and I had to wait about 20 minutes for them to bring more. They have to be more organized.

Had to change rooms several times due to issues. Was placed in a room above a nightclub where the music was so disrupting I could not sleep. The brought up the issue to the hotel’s attention and was moved to a room with same level of noise. Also, no hot water, room service took towels but didn’t replace or made the beds, room was dirty and poorly cared for. Water in the shower leaked into floor. Very poor service over all.
