Beautiful affordable hotel with excellent location

Amazing staff. Very kind, approachable and friendly. They are only there from 8am to later in the evening so its not like a hotel. Room was spacious, clean, good hotel amenities. Distance to fira main bus terminal was about 15mins downhill which was ok. But very central location if you are walking around. Would recommend

Stayed for 2 nights in the apartment. Had everything we needed. Very clean and were able to check in at 12. One of the rooms had a Carribean feel to it. A lot of outlets. They cleaned our room after first night and replaced all amenities, including a croissant for breakfast, which was very nice. Stored luggage after checkout for later flight. Nice balcony to have breakfast and meals. Lotion was provided which was a big plus, and I've only seen this mostly in US hotels. Shower was small, and bathroom can get wet if not careful. Just a minor inconvenience for 2 nights. But would stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.

Our family of 4 loved our apartment at Afrodete. It was a very short walk into the main parts of Fira, and was so quiet at night. The pool is very small, but my 10 and 12 year old loved going from breakfast on our patio to a quick swim before we got going for the day. The office staff were very friendly and answered all of my questions, including tips on where to swim. Our apartment was very modern, clean, and had a full kitchen that we used for breakfast and snacks. The property is not overlooking the caldera side, but is a short walk to the views. It does have beautiful views down the other side of the island, to the beach right Aegean Sea. We would definitely come and stay again.

This is a beautiful little hotel in a convenient location. The room was beautifully appointed. The only drawback was the strong smell of fresh paint; it almost had a kerosene smell to it. We had to open the doors in the middle of the night to breathe!

Great small hotel in quiet but cental location
Quiet little hotel. Our room had a small terasse. Nice jacuzzi in front of the hotel if you dont want to go to the beach. Central location without being in the buzy part of town. The owner was really welcoming and helpful with everything we needed.

The hotel is nice. Shower is small. It’s not a bad walk to restaurants, shopping or bus stop. Jacuzzi on site is cool not warm. Management was nice.

Property is close to everything and is right in between Fira and imerovigli which is perfect for walking. It’s walkable everywhere except when you have a luggage. Then the walk can be a bit challenging.

Great hotel without paying a lot. Best thing about this hotel is the location in firostefani, you are centrally located so very easy to walk to all the other areas and located right down the road from the bus stop. Our room was gorgeous with a nice balcony and view of the ocean. One thing to note is this hotel does not face the caldera (sunset) side of the ocean, but we had beautiful sunrises everyday. The pool is small but does the trick on a hot day. I would definitely stay here again!

There was nothing about this hotel that isn’t charming. The rooms are super clean and spacious with eclectic decor, the staff is accommodating and helpful, it’s conveniently located, within walking distance to Fira and public transportation, and the views are wonderful. I can’t wait to come back!

The location of this property is amazing, there are restaurants, mini markets and a bakery on the same street. Thera is 5 min walk from the hotel and so is Firostefani. The hotel was well kept, cleaner lady was there every morning, and the room was very nice. The only thing that we missed was a safe box to put passports and money. We recommend the hotel, very friendly owners and staff.

The hotel is close to the nightlife. A 15 min walk to the main city. I wouldn’t pick it if you are unable to do physical activities because the entrance is a steep slope and area around it is uphill. Other than that very close by to nightlife so save money on cab and only 15 min drive to airport

Very central location
This hotel is perfect if you are on a budget. No you are not getting a 5 star accommodation, because it is not 5 star pricing. This hotel is probably the best hotel on a budget you will find. The air conditioning and wifi work, it is central, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good value near the center of Fira
Bathroom was very tight. Towels tend to be like hard sand paper. Has a nice small patio area outside with great sunrise view over the beach side of the island. Bed was 2 twin beds pushed together. Staff very friendly. Free parking lot is just across the street.

Nice hotel close to city centre
Angelic was waiting for our arrival and made our stay very comfortable. She made us breakfast every morning to suit our needs. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was very helpful and took the time to tell us the places of interest to visit etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice Little Hotel For a Couple of Days
The owners of this hotel are the best part of the hotel. They are incredibly helpful, friendly and genuinely sweet. Room 6 was comfortable with a nice balcony space. The shower is incredibly small and allows very little room to move and wash if you are larger than European average but it was fine for my two days there. Overall, a great value and experience.

No-frills, but lovely
The mother-daughter team who run the hotel are excellent. The hotel is simple, clean and efficient. Don't' expect luxury, but it has air-conditioning, a pool, and is in walking distance to town.

The Holiday Island
This was our 3rd visit to Santorini and we will go back again because it isn't called The Holiday Island for nothing. If you want either beaches,bars,scenery,sunsets,food,wine,shops,history(the list goes on) then all you need is a good hotel and start walking or driving. This visit we stayed at the Afrodete Hotel in Firostefani and found it just perfect for all the above. Angeliki and staff at the hotel were just so helpful with local knowledge and always had a smile on their face.
