I recieved a room upgrade on this property of which I greatly appreciated. It is in with easy walking distance to the local buses and town centre. There was no need to travel Oia for the sunset as it was just off my terrace. Absolute hidden gem of a location. Thank you team Aigialos I will be back.

This hotel is stunning and peaceful with brilliant staff and always clean and quiet. Yet just a few minutes walk and you're in middle of all the fira action. The view is beyond belief and the breakfast on the balcony amazing. I cant recommend this hotel enough.

This is an amazing place to stay! The staff was attentive to every detail from day 1 to day 4. The views are absolutely breathtaking and we awoke each morning to a freshly prepared breakfast on our veranda overlooking the Aegean.

Beautiful area with breathtaking views the suites are roomy with lovely terraces. Lots of steps be prepared to climb wear and comfortable shoes. Staff is wonderful

This is our second visit to Aiglialos in Santorini (pls see my review of May 2019) The hotel hasn’t changed much. The views are amazing, breakfast is fabulous and served on your private patio overlooking the caldera sea. The entire staff are always polite and helpful. The property is located in a quieter area away from all hustle and bustle yet only 2 minute walk from it. This stay was a bit disappointing with the room we received, with some hiccups. The major issue was the shower situation (there was no wall separating shower). The entire bathroom floor & toilet would get wet when showering, there was no control over this, no matter how you tried to position the shower head/hose. We felt very bad that housekeeping had to bring us so many towels to dry up the floor. Please keep in mind this is a historic building, so be prepared for what that means. I’m not sure I would return, obviously not my experience from 2019. As a returning client and having message the hotel my husband & I would be celebrating a major milestone some effort could have been nice - missed opportunity. Received a bottle of wine for Expedia VIP status.

Excellent 5 star hotel. Perfect location with magnificent views. Staff was very helpful, kind and friendly. They sent one of their staff to receive us at the boom gate and take all our luggage to the hotel. He was great although his English was not so good

Wonderful!! We stayed for three nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The staff and the food we're exquisite. Ate dinner there two times and it was gourmet five star cuisine. Had daily breakfast included with our room and it was delicious. Our room was very comfortable and conveniently located near the reception area. The hotel is a 2-minute walk Fira, with all the shops and restaurants. The shining stars are the staff. Nico and Taros and Melen at the front desk were wonderful hosts. So hospitable and accommodating. They arranged a 4-Hour Private Island tour for us, which was excellent. They also arranged an in room massage service for me which was terrific! Atonis, Manolis in the dining room were delightful! So friendly and professional, catering to our every culinary need. The chef should win a Michelin award with his delicious, creative cuisine.

Our stay at Aigialos Luxury Settlement was magical. From the amazing staff, service, and incredible view from the Maistros suite balcony, we could not have had a better time. Tasos at the front desk went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. He was so kind and friendly. We really enjoyed getting to know him. Andreas took care of our luggage coming and going and anything else we needed. He brought us food at 3:30 in the morning before our 6 AM flight to Rome and hauled the luggage without complaint at 4 AM. The view is unbeatable. No need to fight crowds anywhere for incredible sunsets!! Ours was the best. We would highly recommend Aigialos and definitely stay there again when we inevitably return to the most beautiful place on Earth.

This hotel was fantastic from the easy pick up at the airport to the departure. Exceeded our expectations in all ways. It was not clear that there were 2 separate bedrooms and 2 baths so very pleased when we saw that. Breakfast served on our patio was such a treat. If I every return to Santorini I would stay here again. Loved the location. Loved everything

Words cannot express how amazing ourbstay was. Nikolas and his team excel at personal service and making sure that every detail of your stay is just superb. From the front desk staff, to the breakfast server in the morning, the Night Shift young man who attended to every detail we could ever want, simply outstanding! The view from the hotel is spectacular. It is on the quiet side of Firsa, a gem beyond words. It is hard to find quiet secluded and priceless spots in Santorini, this one was one of them. The breakfast options are superb. Every item is made with love tasted delicious. This hotel does nothing more than aim to please. It has a lot of history and gives one the experience of staying in a private personalized villa. Will stay here again in a heartbeat. Romantic cliff side hotel in Santorini!
Amazing views from the hotel, breakfasts on the patio, and sunset dinner as well. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The pool is under a roof, so great for cooling off in, but not for a day relaxing. Service is great! They will arrange whatever you need & provided great restaurant recommendations.

Great location with amazing views and slightly away from the busier area. The staff are great, very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and memorable. The villa we stayed in was so cute and had lots of room. The breakfast was also wonderful. Only thing that might have made it better was having some lounge chairs around the pool.

The staff were wonderful and friendly. They were timely every day with breakfast, cleaned the room well and were helpful in calling taxis. The morning breakfast, including omelette, is homemade every morning and contains a variety of foods. The location of the hotel is very close to downtown Fira, maybe a 5 minute walk. The views from the balcony were amazing and indeed the sunset view rival that of Oia’s.

Staff was great. Beautiful property Breakfast every morning was a great highlight and amazing way to wake up in paradise. Had the 2 bdrm 2 bath suite perfect for a family with enough space. The pool is small but lovely. We were welcomed with warmth. VERY close to Fira 2 min wal to everything would stay again 100%

From the moment you arrive the staff takes extreme care to meet your needs even when we came back from a walk they brought us water in the lobby while we talked. Rooms are very big and clean. It is a small pool if you have interest in that but very refreshing. The location was enough off the beaten path to get away from the crowds but a very short walk to all restaurants and shopping. The view from our private balcony where we were served breakfast every morning, spectacular!

The staff are top notch. They are the most welcoming and helpful people. Breakfast was served daily on our patio with the most amazing views. Helios and Harris were delightful. While the hotel is definitely an older establishment that is part of the charm. It’s Greece after all everything will not be shining and new. Keep your expectations of at home amenities at home. Embrace the Greek culture and just lean in. You can’t beat the views from Aigialos!!! Warning to any persons with disabilities like myself. The area is very steep and hilly. I managed fine with my cane. Just be prepared Santorini is quite elevated and hilly with volcanic rock.

Absolutely gorgeous property, it feels like a little apartment in the perfect location. The views are outstanding. Breakfast is amazing. I would pack less for Santorini next time very steep hills the guys had to carry our 4 bags up the hill , I felt horrible for packing that way. Also don’t bother trying to wear wedges or heels, everything is cobblestone sidewalks and streets.

This is a beautiful historical property with amazing views and easy /walkable access to the main area in Fira. Expect smaller than US-sized rooms, bathrooms but if you travel often that is expected in the Mediterranean and Europe. The hotel staff was amazingly accommodating as we hosted our small wedding ceremony and supported our nuanced requests. Memorable experience and beyond customer-focused staff; would HIGHLY recommend.

Picturesque historic hotel in the main village of Fira. The staff was friendly and extremely accomodating to all our requests. The breakfast on the balcony is a must for experiencing the sheer peaceful beauty of Santorini and the best croissants I have ever tasted! The rooms were simple but very clean with ample room for all our traveling needs. I cannot think of a better place to stay while experiencing the island.

Location, staff and breakfast was excellent! My daughter and I enjoyed our 3 day stay. Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and it was absolutely delicious! We booked the Panoramic House Sea View Room (absolutely beautiful), but we respectfully declined the room because it was way to large for us. We loved the smaller room they gave with awesome views. The only minor issue was hot water and toilet. We look forward to returning very soon.
