Great location close to Fira.
The hotel is an extremely well situated property! Large FIRM European beds. The staff are friendly and helpful. 3 level hotel. Breathtaking views from second and top floor suites! Beautiful view 10 steps from lower suites. 2 convenience stores and 4-5 restaurants, tour agencies , rental vehicles within 400 metres. 20 min walk to downtown Fira. 2 1/2 hour hike to historic town of Oia.

I don’t recommend
The room was clean with a good view. However, bathroom was stinky. The breakfast quality was poor with terrible service. Breakfast was provided after 9.30am with un-toasted bread. Who gives breakfast after 9.30am!! If you don’t want to provide breakfast just take it off from the service.Their service showed ignorance.

The location is amazing. Finding the property was extremely difficult and there is no parking. Be ready to lug all your luggage through the streets and up many steps. The room was TINY. The check in reception is only on site 9 am to 3:30 pm. So anything you need has to be handled in that time frame. You can text, but we didn’t get a reply until 9am the next day. The view is spectacular. The room was clean.

I booked and stayed this “hotel” and I must say, it’s the WORSE “hotel” I’ve stayed at and I was so pissed. First off, it’s false advertisement. The place looks NOTHING like the pictures. I was SO MAD and EMBARRASSED, that I didn’t even take no pictures or videos to put on my social media accounts. It’s not easy to find. The room has one tiny window. You can’t have your window opened when getting dressed because someone walking by can see you. The bathroom floor and even almost to the bed stays wet after you shower because the water runs down. I slipped a few times. There’s a tiny towel on the floor which ends up being soaked. There’s so much noise coming from other rooms and also outside with cars and motorbikes or people walking. If you need something, you have to wait for the people to return to work the next day because the “reception” closes at 3pm. Their “continental breakfast” consists of 2 yogurts, an orange and a cold sandwich. Mine was put in a brown paper box, like I’m going to pre-school with my lunch. I never ate it. The view is definitely not as advertised. It’s the worse money spent. NOT worth the prices they’re charging. I left before my initial check out time. I had enough. Will definitely NOT recommend staying here.

A nice simple hotel with a million dollar view
It was a great stay in Agave Hotel. The hotel is situated in Imerovigli, right on top of the caldera (cliff). The room was quite simple but comfy. Despite its simplicity, it has a million dollar view even from our hotel room. We could watch sun rise and sun set in the comfort of our balcony. One thing you should know, the receptionist only opens at 9.30AM to 3.30PM. We got there quite early in the morning, so we could not check in right away as the receptionist was not on site yet. But, we managed to walk around the neighbourhood and took a lot of beautiful photos while there were no people around. The neighbourhood would start to be very crowded and busy in the afternoon. We came back to the hotel at 9.30 when the receptionist opened. We were attended to by Irini. She was pretty helpful and friendly. She gave us early check in at 12PM instead of 3PM free of charge. And she could be reached on her number whenever we needed something outside if the opening hour. There is a mini market just behind our hotel which sells plenty of stuff. You can find almost everything in the shop. It opens from 7.30AM to 11PM. However, the restaurants opened quite late. Almost all restaurants open at 11AM. So if you're a morning breaky person, you can only get some simple breaky stuff from the mini market. In overall, it was a pleasant trip. It is value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely come back again if I had an opportunity to travel back to Santorini.

Great Location and View With A Caveat
Wonderful location with an amazing view! The staff here are great - super friendly and helpful. However, there were a few details about the property that we found to be few frustrating. First of all, one of the reasons why we booked this hotel is because it was listed as having a laundry service. Given the duration of our time in Greece, we knew we would need this. Unfortunately there was no laundry available, and the closest laundromat was about a 30 minute walk away. There were no delivery options nearby, either. Secondly, the door on our hotel room was challenging to open and close, and even when closed, there was a crack that allowed bugs (mosquitos) in. Finally, on our last night, about half an hour after the reception closed, our shower refused to work. There was very little water pressure, and no heat. We ended up having to do a sponge bath with bottled water. Not ideal. Other than these frustrating factors, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is filling, and it is perfect to enjoy with the excellent view. Great hotel for the value, if you don't mind putting up with some annoyances.

Great view--right on the Caldera, located off the heavily-trafficked tourist paths. Terrace feels more private than many upscale accomodations which our down the slope. Room is decent size for one person or a couple. Breakfast is very good. They will meet you at the taxi drop off on the nearest street. Not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Brilliant location with ease walk down into Fira and fantastic views on your door step. Service from Sergio (Hotel Manager) was excellent, he was always very prompt and helpful. Even though the hotel doesn’t have a pool, there’s access to one down the road for guests from Agave - this is important as it can be very hot in August!! Only down side of this hotel is the shower, as we always ended with a soaking bathroom… but it is a good price for its location.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Million dollar views. Sergio is a wonderful host - super friendly, upbeat and generous. Loaned me a book for the beach and said I could keep it. The breakfast is super generous. Will definitely return to this little treasure.

Agave was one of our best choices. Leon and his assistant Lila were absolutely great in every sense. They were welcoming and took care of us very well. Nothing was really a problem to them. The breakfast was fantastic - not to be missed! Leon went out of his way to help us even when I was sick. The location was perfect and the property was of high standard. The room was very clean and was well stocked. A great experience overall and we sure will choose this property if we are to go back to Santorini.

While the stay was mostly pleasant and the hotel has a beautiful view of the caldera from the balconies of the room, our room was broken into on the second night of our stay and many items were stolen. The police investigated, and future travelers should be aware that there are no cameras on this property and the rooms are not secure. If security is a priority, I would suggest you book a different Imerovigli hotel.

Great Spot in Santorini!
It’s a smaller boutique hotel but it is where you want to be ... we were mins away from some of the most beautiful sunset spots on the island. The breakfast included is also quite good, they always made sure that we had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend.

We arrived at the hotel just after 7 am but the reception opens around 0830 so we thought we wait to see if we can check in and pay extra as me and wife were really tired after a long journey. Front desk receptionist wasn't willing to listen to my wife and kept repeating "not negotiable, come at 2 pm to check in. Front desk staff (Sergio) was very unprofessional, aggressive and rude towards us. We were only trying to give constructive feedback on how he should speak to visitors but he didn't want to listen and he packed his bag and went home. Even his own colleague was surprised. This holiday was ruined on the first morning. Spoke to the manager Mariana who wasn't present at that time when this took place. Still waiting to hear back from her as she said she's dealing with it. Also, there were switch sockets wasn't screwed on properly, very unsafe. Hotel was clean and good location. Staff needs to be overlooked at in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend to friends or family to visit this hotel in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Santorini Greece. The Azul hotel sits in the quiet and wonderful views of the Caldera. You can see these majestic and beautiful Santorini just steps outside our room. Free breakfast is a plus.

The hotel was ok. Staff was friendly, the room sizable and breakfast tasty. The only issue I have was the bathroom - the shower was so small (maybe 3ftx3ft) there was no way not to touch the shower courtain, and that grossed me out a bit. There was also some mold on the ceiling...

Hotel for Couples on Budget
The hotel staff were wonderful. We booked this for our family of four which included our baby and child. However, when we checked in we were told that our room was only for couples and did not include the two double beds which Expedia had advertised. Thankfully, the staff accommodated us the best that they could with putting a cot in the very small room. The view, location, staff and breakfast were very good but I would not recommend this to anyone bringing kids or someone looking for a comfortable room. Also, the shower is the smallest that I have ever seen. When you sit on the toilet your elbow is in the shower. I'm very petite so I can't imagine an average sized person liking this. Only stay here if your on a budget. Again, we liked the staff. They did the best with what they had.

Unsurpassable view
I believe that this hotel has the best view of the famous hill of Santorini with close proximity to everything . The only downside is the parking that if you have to fight for ,the facilities are just right for two people and no more , the rooms can use a good cleaning . Truly this hotel is worth every penny just for that amazing view of the bay and the hill and of course the proximity to the market and the main road .

A very nice hotel with the best view. The continental breakfast is understanded, as it is delivered to your door and is hot. Staff are very reliable and conversant. Bring an umbrella as there is no shade on your perfect viewing deck! A great place to stay at any price.

I was nearly cancel my hotel booking when I see some negative reviews in booking.com, hotel.com but it was opposite . Location was excellent , very polite and helpful staff. We had very good time stayed in hotel. Hotel view was superb and supermarkets, restaurants, bar other shops are very close.If you are looking for budget hotel in santorini I will recommend Azul is best.

Most recomendations by hotel personnel were bad. Bathroom was very small. View window was small and on top of refrigerator all the way to one end of the room.

Good value for the price. Although not as swanky as some of the nearby villas, azul offers a comfortable stay during your visit to Santorini. It's convenient location means you don't have to drag your bags too far from the main road so it's good for anyone that can't manage a lot of steps/uneven terrain. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms have a simple and traditional layout to them- even a partial view of the caldera is breathtaking. I found the reviews on this site to be pretty accurate regarding the showers, road noise etc but none of this was overbearing as I was too tired on evenings to notice! I really enjoyed my stay at azul and am looking forward to visiting again someday.
