Spent 2 weeks at the Elixir del mar, our room was excellent with a hot tub on the terrace, which we used every day and had a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea whilst we sipped a glass of wine! Breakfast was great and plentiful, omelettes pastries yogurt and fruit, orange juice and coffee, right on the beach! We loved the beach, stony but had come prepared with swim shoes, a few days the waves we too much for me so the pool was used those days, always plenty loungers, and kept nice and clean, We loved the fact there weren’t any mosquitoes around not sure if this continues into high summer! Dined at the restaurant our first evening and the food was good but so many other restaurants and evenings out at different locations meant we didn’t get a chance to eat there again! Staff all great and friendly, very helpful, Pool area and changing facilities for late checkout could use some updating! All in all highly recommended this Hotel!

Check in was the only thing pleasant. There is no parking on the property and the staff was not helpful at all. Breakfast was basic and the building is old. You can’t beat the location but do not expect the staff to be attentive of your need. Best avoided if travel with kids

Great stay at Elixir
A fantastic stay at Elizir. We were made very welcome, staff very accommodating (Francesca made different shapes in the towels) which my daughters loved. The apartments are in an excellent location within Kamari. I would certainly stay here again.

They play extremely loud music from the bar/restaurant on site until early in the morning making sleep impossible. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the rooms are incredibly dingy and gross. Breakfast was cold, not labeled and not good.

Super friendly staff
This is a typical Greek accommodation, so, small basic shower and bathroom. We were in room 15, paid extra for a sea view and got a really large balcony too, The room had a single and double bed, fridge, mini kitchen, dressing table etc. Location was excellent, right on the lovely pedestrian front with easy access to bars, restaurants and shops. Apartments have their own cafe/restaurant, breakfast was great and staff offered extras to buffet eg cappuccino/latte or eggs as you want them. Staff were exceptionally friendly which is why I would return. Small, great location and friendly staff, shame the beds weren’t hugely comfortable and shower so small, but would still recommend xx

I loved everything about this place! From the amazing location in the middle of everything and right on the beach to the awesome view of the ocean from our room and incredible big balcony. And although the desk Cleese at 10 there was someone waiting for us at 2:00am becauSe our flight was delayed. Such a huge relief. All the staff was super friendly and helpful and special kudos to Daniel, the waiter on the beach. He was fantastic! Great sense of humour and always there when we wanted s drink or snack. Highly recommend this place.

Elixir was an excellent home base for Santorini. Beach during the day and then head to Oia at night or hang out on the boardwalk in Kamari. The absolute best part of Elixir was the hospitality - literally everyone was so helpful and nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice Hotel on the beach strip
The staff was the best. Everyone was so accommodating and pleasant. The cleaning crew was helpful and awesome. The day manager let me check in early do to availability. And the evening/night Mgr was so full of life and polite. I would go back and stay there because of them. And the location was perfect !!!!!! This was all that and a bag of chips. The shower is the one downside for anyone used to taking comfortable showers.

Nice hotel on the beach
We stayed here for 5 days. VERY friendly staff. I’m not sure of their names but the morning and afternoon front-desk staff were phenomenal. On one day, we had a tour cancelled due to inclement weather and plan B failed. The front desk staff called around and helped us make backup plans quickly! The room was okay. We had a double bed, meaning two twin-sized beds pushed together. That was fine. Sheets were rough, not soft at all. Towels were provided and they were also rough. The room was cleaned every day and the outdoor space was clean. The bathroom never quite smelled 100% clean despite never really being used (we were out 99% of the days). But with the patio door open and the AC, it was manageable. The showers were tiny! Maybe that’s a norm around Greece (as our Airbnb in Athens had a small shower as well). The pool was nice, though we never used it since there was a nice, clean beach right there! The water at the beach was pristine and amazing! Definitely get swim shoes or flip flops for the black sand/stone beach as the ground gets pretty hot in the sun. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back here again if we found ourselves in Santorini again!

Spacious room with French doors to a large patio
The hotel is in a perfect location. We loved being right on the beach and also having the pool to lounge by. The continental breakfast in the morning was a huge plus. The only thing we didn't like was the very tiny shower. The bathroom is a good size and could accommodate a larger shower basin, but because it's so small and has a curtain, the whole bathroom gets wet.

Fab first trip to Santorini
Great location by the beach. Close to bus stop. Comfortable, spacious room with air con. Decor slightly dated. Great terrace with lounger and sea views. Walk onto the beach (free loungers) for a fantastic sunrise. We hope to return!

Perfect value for money in Kamari beach.
Elixir studios have a perfect location on Kamari beach, just in front of the sea, with loads of amenities bars, restaurants and shops around. The studios are recently renovated and very clean. They clean everyday. The staff is very helpful and nice, they also give you 10% discount at their restaurant, which is also good. Breakfast is ok. Pool is good, it also have a jacuzzi in. Sunbeds are for free. Free airport transfer. Absolutely recommended.

Great Gem! The Staff is amazing! Keep it up! Is located a few block from the Bus Station, Beach is right in front of the Hotel. Very quiet, clean, we were there only for 3 days, but we really enjoyed and felt comfortable. We will be back for sure next year!

Nice hotel in good location
The strip in Kamari beach has lots of hotel along the front and this one of them. The rooms here are basic but do the job. We had a room on the ground floor by the nice pool. Breakfast was good and nice to eat in front of the sea. They helpfully got soya milk for us. Location is brilliant, very close to everything. Wifi was so so. Jacuzzi was broken most of the time. My wife cut her foot on the bottom of the pool, I cut mine on the step entrance to the apartment. Doors and beds were very squeaky, they could do with taking better care of maintenance. Generally I would recommend this place.

Absolutely perfect!
The Elixir Studios were absolutely perfect. We spent 10 nights there, sadly returning to the UK yesterday. From the minute we arrived we were given a very warm welcome by Anna. We were shown to our room, which was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The location of the Elixir is fantastic - you are literally 30 seconds away from the beach and the sea. With free sunbeds and towels the beach is the ideal place to chill out and recharge the batteries. The breakfast provided is simple but lovely. We ate several times at the Elixir - although there is a huge choice of restaurants in Kamari. The food was always delicious - really fresh and beautifully presented. George and the team are helpful and friendly and make guests feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble. I cannot fault one thing about the Elixir - I just wish we could have stayed for longer and will be definitely be returning to this wonderful place and the beautiful island of Santorini. Thank to George and his team for the perfect holiday.

Beautiful island lots to see and do. Elixir studio was in a great location roll out of bed and onto the beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Room service every day with fresh towels and the whole place was kept spotless clean. Very relaxing resort.

Location of the hotel is great but I was dissatisfied with the bed. My booking was for double bed. The bed provided by hotel was too small and made lot of noise giving a feeling that it may break any time. Hotel is located just in front of Kamari beach thus location is perfect. Wifi is free and accessible in rooms. No toiletries are provided except one bar soap.

I really enjoyed Hotel George which was right on the walking strip of restaurants and bars and a cross walk to the black sand beach. We had a group of 8, with 3 different rooms (2 rooms were triples)which were all satisfactory and clean. We did not go into town, as the strip of restaurants, bars, pools, were satisfactory for our 2 day stay. I definitely recommend Hotel George.

Tolles Hotel am Strand, Zimmer ziemlich neu renoviert und schön, der private Whirlpool auf der Terrasse war noch nicht in Betrieb. Pool OK, Frühstück bei den auf der anderen Seite der Strandpromenade liegenden Tischen, direkt am Strand war einfach traumhaft. Beim ersten Mal waren wir ob des servierten Frühstücksbuffets, wo man aus einer Karte jede Speise max. einmal auswählen konnte, etwas irritiert, aber wir haben das System dann auch kapiert. Freundliches Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Kleines sehr nettes Hotel, sehr gutes Frühstück a la carte zu wählen (vermutlich wegen Corona kein Buffet). Gepflegter Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Eigener Strand mit eigenen Liegen und Sonnenschirmen direkt vor dem Hotel. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit großer Terrasse und Meerblick. Einzig das Badezimmer war nur durchschnittlich (Duschvorhang) aber sauber!

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Inselerkundung
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Elixir Studios. Das Personal ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit. Die direkte Strandnähe mit genügend liegen sorgt für Erholung am Meer. Auch der kleine Pool kann für Abwechslung sorgen. Idealer Standort in Kamari, da der Fluglärm des Flughafens noch nicht stört.

Super Frühstück und super netter Service. Die Hotelanlage macht einen sehr guten Eindruck und Strandurlaub kann man wenn man unbedingt möchte auch hier machen. Nachteile sind: *Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig *Matratze etwas unbequem
