Quiet well maintained Villa
Imerovigil is about 2 miles north of Santorini. The hotel is older but has a nice view and the rooms are quiet, well maintained and clean. Due to the ferry schedule I arrived after the office had closed at five pm. I called Hara and she arrived promptly to check me in. The bed is quite firm but acceptable. There is a small refrigerator and safe. Compared to Santorini or Oia, Imerovigli is smaller, quiet with much less tourist traffic. There is a bus stop a few blocks from the hotel for access to Oia or Santorini. Hara is very helpful with local attractions and helped arrange an airport transport at 6 am. I enjoyed avoiding the crowds and the party crowd. I would stay there again if I travel to Greece.

Property was fantastic and in a great location, and Hara was wonderful. She answered our many questions and helped with our requests. We wish we had access to a do not disturb sign to turn down housekeeping and a controllable hot tub temperature, but otherwise everything was great.

We arrived really late on but Hara was really helpful, she sorted out our transfers when we landed in Santorini and she sent me instructions for the room we was staying in so we didn’t disturb anyone. Great help Hara, Thankyou very much!! Nice place to stay in Imervig

First time in Santorini
Had a nice stay at Villa Happening in Imarovigli. Easy walk to Fira, Skaros rock, but to Oia, etc. It's much quieter than Fira or Oia. But no beach nearby. The rooms are cute but small, esp the bathroom. Service is good, Hara is very helpful. We had nice view of sunrise from the balcony.

Hara was very friendly and helpful, she helped us organize a boat tour to the volcano as well as our transfer to the port. The room was very clean and spacious, a great value for the price. We loved hanging out on our balcony in the mornings, watching the sea and the hens foraging in the back lot. It was very quiet and peaceful which can be hard to find in Santorini during high season. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Villa Happening couldn't offer a full voucher for next year for my brother and his wife to stay when we try our wedding again in Greece. Haven't been yet but it's an excellent value to be on the caldera and is traditional Greek looking, which I'm anxious for my brother to see when he visits for our wedding. -James Wadley

Great location in Imerovigli
Our stay was very comfortable. Hara went out of her way to help us with all the questions we had. The villa is steps away from the Caldera in a very convenient location. Our room was a bit small, but comfortable and offered all the amenities we needed. We were even given beach towels for a grip to the beach. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Basic room, generally clean, quiet area. Santorini is generally expensive, however for the price, i would consider stay in a different location (perhaps in he south) with a view of the ocean. Property does not have sunset views, if this is what you are hunting for. It has a small view of the sunrise, however. Shower could definitely be fixed up - hard to keep the water from going all over the bathroom. Property is a bit aged and could use some updating, however Hara is helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful experience; would come back no doubt!
From the moment we stepped foot into Villa Happening we were greeted by very friendly staff and immediately given a room. Lucky us, since we arrived a few hours before check-in time. The room was very clean and good size. Compared to all the other hotels, literally next door, we didn’t have caldera view but the view was a two-minute walk away. On our balcony we did enjoy a nice view of the opposite side of the island. We looked for weeks to find the most suitable hotel for our stay and must say that we were thoroughly happy. I’d come back here in a heart-beat - always over opting for one of the hotels right on the caldera, which are 3 to 4 times more expensive and I highly doubt that the rooms or quality of night sleep is any better :) thanks villa happening.

Our stay at Villa Happening was shorter than anticipated as travel plans for us changed. Wish we would have stayed longer. Room was cozy. Location/town was right in the middle of Oia and Fira, minutes away from each town. Receptionist/villa owner was very helpful in arranging pick-up and drop-off from and to location, and in arranging our ATV rental. Recommendations for places to visit were all jotted down in binder located in room. Great view from our room balcony. Would definitely recommend!

Good basic accommodation in Santorini
Excellent staff, Hara was super friendly & very responsive to emails & questions. Basic accommodation but clean & functional. A good budget option for Santorini if you don’t need a pool & Caldera front location. Be prepared for a tiny bathroom & in room 8 the mattress was pretty lumpy, creaky & uncomfortable.

We really liked the hotel, the staff, and the location. Imerovigli is not as busy as Oia or Fira but has excellent restaurants and amazing sunset views. There's a small terrace on the rooftop of the hotel, nice for a morning coffee but no view from there - however, you won't be spending time in your room, just walk 2 minutes and you get the Caldera view :) The host was very helpful. The only negative point was the quality of the mattress in the room - not the most comfortable.

Great value for Santorini. Not on the hillside so it's affordable and still only a few minutes walk to everything, one minute walk to amazing views. Close to many restaurants and local bus stop. Staff was great, helped in every way we asked. Room was simple and comfortable, even though you don't spend much time in it. Really unless you want to pay $300+ per night for a room with private pool on the cliffside this is the next best option. Great stay, fully reccomend

Villa Happening was a very pleasant stay as the place and the view are lovely. The staff are the sweetest ever as they make you feel like you're more a family member more than a guest. The rooms are clean and the place is overall comfortable.

We were there for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time in Santorini. The hotel is not in Oia nor Fira, which all the action is, but the bus stop is near the hotel. Renting a car is a good solution to take you around Santorini. Maria (the owner) and her lovely daughters were very kind, smiling and always ready to help. Breakfast is not a very good deal.

Excellent budget option close to Caldera cliffs
A fantastic hotel if you are looking for the best budget options outside of Fira. A few yards from the Caldera en close to some nice restaurants in nice, quiet and tranquil area. The bus stop is also very close by and you can take it to Fira or Oia - or walk the lovely route along the Caldera to Fira (about 40 minutes). The staff is lovely - Maria and Hara gave us such a warm welcome and even taught us some Greek words. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice family run hotel. Shame that the shower water wasn't very hot; rooms were facing the 'wrong' side of the island, ie east. Service was as one would expect. Internet service not great, but that's typical for the island.
