Beautiful hotel with outstanding views of barcelon

We had a magic time in the miramar hotel, what really made our stay was how we was treated by the hotel staff, they looked after us everyday, And made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend if you can afford it go for a premium room. we was lucky enough to experience that room for one night, which completed our hoilday! Because the view watching the sun go down is breathtaking. We would come back to this hotel again.! Definitely one of the best hotels in barcelona! Just one thing that did spoil it slightly around the pool area, was the loud awful pop unrealised chart music that plays. Doesnt make you feel very relaxed as it's quiet over powering and irrrating. We did ask staff a few times if they could play more beautiful relaxing chilll out music which they did once. If the staff as miramar read this comment. I would like to say, the pool area is a very relaxing area, It dint seem like anyone was enjoying the pop and commercial dance music that was playing out loud. And that if you played something more peaceful instrumental your more likely to get everyone enjoying it rather then a select few when playing loud commercial dance music. As it felt like we was staying at butlins hoilday's! For a classy hotel how you have presented it and with 5stars pool side music does Let it down to 3 stars. I hope you read our comments. We had to speak from truth of our experience. We still had fabulous time. Thank you.

Yes very good hotel very friendly staff and very helpfully good location to Barcelona 10 euro drive away very good views of the city

Great location on the mountain, awesome views of the city. Hotel is A+. Breakfast buffet is good but very expensive!

Not what we expected

Booked a deluxe room six montha ago for our honeymoon. The deluxe room was located on the main floor with a balcony that we could not use as it had zero privacy and was pretty much shares with the hotel bar. Every night there seemed to be a party going on at the bar outside with loud musix thAt kept us up until 4:30 am. Phone in room did not work, ordered room service on first day, waited an hour and a half to then have to walk to front desk and find out they had forgot our order... Nothing special honeymoon.. not even a flower or anything Not worth the money or 5 stars.

Started off great...

The hotel is beautiful, better than I expected so I have no complaints there. The staff were attentive and lovely. The rooms were clean and spacious. I only had 3 days in Barcelona. The purpose of my trip was to completely relax after a bereavement and do a little bit of sightseeing (been before so I have done all the touristy bits). This was a late booking and I booked mostly because of the lovely, quiet outdoor pool and spa area. I had planned my trip meticulously. Day one, sunbathe at the hotel. Day two bit of sightseeing, back to the hotel. Day 3 sunbathe at the hotel. I checked out at 12 noon but didn't fly until the evening. I had planned to just chill out by the pool for the day. (Every hotel allows you to use their facilities after check out when you fly late.) When I checked out the staff told me I couldn't use any of the facilities including sitting by the pool. They had a corporation who had booked the whole hotel so guests couldn't use anything. Had this be told to me before I'd made the booking I definitely wouldn't have booked to stay there. It should have at least been mentioned when I had checked in so I could have planned my days accordingly. Lovely hotel, but left a bit disappointed.

Great hotel but bad roomservice

The hotel was wonderfull and the view spectaculair a bit difficult to get taxi in the evening as it is not on the regular taxi routes however had a bad roomservice experience where they accepted an order and only 35 min later told us no food could be served from kitchen. Without any solution we were told to wait for breakfast and with most restaurants elsewhere closed we litterly had no food that night even when we told we had a kid nothing was offered.

Great views. Nice suites. Front desk needs work

Lovely hotel with beautiful views. Modern and spacious suite. Front desk issues with checking in and checking out. My key card didn't work after 3 times of going down and having reception re-key it. Annoying. Also forgot to give me my card back after checking out! Hotel room service was delicious, spa was relaxing. Unfortunately the errors coming and going stick in my mind
