"Large, well equipped hotel on the beach"
Visited Bali for the wedding of a family member. Fantastic location, only a few minutes walk to good value bars and restaurants, and a short taxi ride into Sanur centre. The hotel has 400+ rooms, with the usual facilities - TV, air-conditioning, decent bathroom with large walk-in shower, tea & coffee, bottled water. My ground floor room had a secluded patio, as do many of the ground floor rooms. There is a large open air restaurant to the back of the hotel, which leads directly onto a large beach area. Great breakfasts! Fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, muesli, assorted breads, Indonesian rice and noodles, and the usual attempt at bacon and sausages! Eggs & omelettes cooked to order. I visited the beach bar several times for beer and cocktails, around £2 for a small beer, £4 for a decent cocktail. The pizzas are also great! Great pool area, was never crowded (September), also spent an hour or two at the pool bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Cash machine in the hotel, as well as a restaurant, gift shops, and a small shop selling essential toiletries, snacks, etc. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
