Great hotel, not for children due to busy road

A great hotel in the middle of everywhere. Close to the subway, easy to get where you want. Not really suited for children because the neighbourhood. The hotel is really close to the busiest road in town.

Great hotel, Horrible Customer Service

When I bought this hotel in hotels.com, I had free breakfast included in my daily rate. When I went down to have breakfast, the restaurant wanted to charge me. I had to be arguing with the hotel staff for them to honor it, checking out was a hassle, and even arrived late to my meeting that morning. The hotel was beautiful and in a great neighborhood, as I have become accustomed to from Mercure, but the customer service was quite bad. One of the worst I have ever had.

The room is very clean.

The room is very clean, but the food is not as good as other Mercure. Good location and just right beside the metro station.

Very nice, close to main avenue

Great location and service, clean and walking distance to a main metro transfer station, it was very easy to move around Sao Paulo

Noisy and in bad conditions

It was so noisy in the room, I felt I was sleeping outdoors. I recommend you to ask for a room in the back where is a bit less noisy. They were also renewing some rooms so there was a lot of noise during the day. Hotel is old and way too overpriced. The only good thing is the location close to metro station, however, if you are not planning on taking the metro daily, I recommend you to stay away from this hotel. Service is also terrible, they don't help with the luggage when you arrive and if you have heavy luggage like myself, good luck with the stairs. Once I asked them to help me calling a taxi and the lady in the reception said they couldn't. Restaurant food is terrible and comes cold many times. I have stayed in a few hotels in Sao Paulo, including cheaper hotels, and this one was the worst one by far.

STAY IN MERCURE PARAISO

Pros: the confort of the rooms.
Cons: the system of the reservation and the advertising.
Location: Well.
Hello. I had a disappointment, because I got to the hotel at 7 in the morning and an hour later I got my room. The reason was that the room was not ready even though I made my reservation days earlier. And the other problem was that the breakfast charge on my bill, even though Expedia's announcement indicated that breakfast would be free (included in the final price per day). So, that's my disappointment the hotel.
