Great hotel, Horrible Customer Service

When I bought this hotel in hotels.com, I had free breakfast included in my daily rate. When I went down to have breakfast, the restaurant wanted to charge me. I had to be arguing with the hotel staff for them to honor it, checking out was a hassle, and even arrived late to my meeting that morning. The hotel was beautiful and in a great neighborhood, as I have become accustomed to from Mercure, but the customer service was quite bad. One of the worst I have ever had.
