Needs updating!

While this hotel appears to fit the "Lux" business traveler's niche, it seriously needs a remodel, new carpets, and new furniture, especially beds! Everything after the lobby is frayed and dingy.

Close to the airport

Pros: It is close to the airport and I had to wait very little for the free airport shuttle.
Cons: Improve maintenance and cleaning for the rooms.
Location: GRU airport is very close and there is a free shuttle service that takes you there in 5-10 minutes.
This hotel is close to the airport and looks very beautiful from the outside, but the room itself was not very well maintained, with stained furniture and an old mattress. The shower was full of scale stains and there was some hairs in the towels. The breakfast was a little on the expensive side.

Nice hotel close to the airport

Very good experience. Late check out worked well. Nice facilities, great staff and close to the airport with free transportation.

Great staff but outdated facilities

The staff are great and the food was pretty good. The facilities are very old, carpets stained and such.

Close accomodation to airport

Pros: Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Had a outdoor swimming
Cons: Carpets on the floor levels need to be replaced. Showers need a little renovation work. Smoke smell in my room in 733
Room was spacious but had a faint lingering smoke smell. Ammenities were great

I was not very happy as I had to wait almost an hour for the shuttle from the airport to pick me up. Supposedly I was requiered to request the service through a phone call, which makes no sense; there are no courtesy phones, nor did I have a payphone nor a local cell phone available. Hotels.com does not mention that requierement either. I expressed my displeasure to the recepcionist and was never offered an oficial apolagy. Aditionally, sincethe wait, I missed the posibility to get lu ch at the hotel, who's regular kitchen is not open after 3:30PM and only offers snacks and burgers, but no real food. Waste of US$150...

Nice but terrible

Location: nothing, just convenient that is close to the airport
What do you look in a hotel? comfort. Comfort comes from nice accommodations and service. they have nice accommodations but they really lack in service. I went to the restaurant two times, both with the same results: 20 minutes from being seated to having the menu and drink order. 45 minutes for them to bring me the drink, the food took about the same time, the second drink i gave up after 30 minutes wait. My mistake was not going to the buffet!! but the service is the same at the front or if you have a need and call room service or front desk. And i speak perfect portuguese. Not staying here again
