I had to pay for use the gym and the wifi, I think a 5 star hotel shouldn't have carpet on the badroom, make the room smell bad.

Luxury in Sao Paulo

Pros: Location, staff, and room quality.
Cons: The pool was closed and the tile color was an odd brownish red color, not very attractive looking.
Location: Several malls in walking distance, as well as a great park just a few steps away.
Very pleased with my stay at the Tivoli. The location is great, close to shopping, a lovely park, and many restaurants. I felt safe walking around at night. Take Uber for longer trips, very reasonably priced and you can enter in your destination address as the driver likely won't speak much English. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and efficient, with excellent English. We were upgraded to a corner suite room which as amazing. Large and very nicely furnished. I loved the huge shower with rain water shower head. Enroll in their "Discovery" frequent stay program to avoid the WiFi fee (WiFi worked fast too).

Big name, small delivery

Internet connection is subpar, the connection drops off if you put your phone down and making your phone uses your roaming data. You can turn roaming off, but then you're not connected really. Only when using the device, must some kind of configuration to squeeze internet usage. I'm disappointed since they charge for the service on top of that. Hotel elevators are falling apart, doors don't even close all the way. Safety risk.

Elevadores barulhentos

Precisamos trocar de quarto. Pois além de ser um quarto especial para paraplégico e poir isso tudo era muito baixo para uma pessoa normal ( bancada de banheiro, vaso sanitário, armário), também ficava junto aos elevadores que são super barulhentos. Tipo um trem passando dentro do quarto. Encontramos uma resistência po parte dos funcionários para ocorrer nossa troca para outro quarto. Impossivel ficar nas colunas 01 e 13 deste hotel.

Although pricey, the current exchange rate for sterling meant it was really good value for money. Very nice overall. Only problem was the extras - everything was incidental from the Internet to the coffee and water in your room! Also the gym incurred an extra cost. But Jo surprise for a hotel of its type.
