I recommend highly
I recommend highly this pousada for its location and services. The pousada is at 3 minutes walk from the ocean side and Ubatuba Aquarium, and from there a large selection of bars and restaurants opens while strolling along the beach. Furthermore, the pousada offers bicycles and umbrella. Bicycles are very useful to ride along the beach as there is a dedicated cycle path all along the Ubatuba litoral. For example, I took a splendid run leaving from the pousada and running safely in the walk path next to the beach. Breakfast is ok but not huge in terms of variety.

Great little stop on my Roadtrip!
This stay was just a block from the main downtown area with lots of restaurants, shops, etc. Also family friendly.

Overall, we were pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke enough english to communicate with me. (Glad my wife speaks Portugese tho!)The room was great. The pool is on small side. Breakfast was ok. A couple of hot items. The área was safe. Parking was secure. They have bikes you can use for free. My only gripe would be that the wifi didnt work in the room.

Excellent hotel
My husband and I spent 3 nights at the hotel and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel owner was more then helpful to us. He drove us around the town upon our arrival,suggested places to go. He made our stay in Ubatuba an unforgetable experience.

Great staff, very charming hotel
Our room was sparse, but clean and comfortable enough. The pool area was very nice, and surrounding trees/bushes/flowers made it like a small oasis in the middle of the neighborhood. It's only a couple of blocks from the beach and boardwalk. The immediate neighborhood looks a little intimidating with run-down houses with big fences and dogs, but it still seemed very safe, even as my girlfriend and I walked home in the dark. And the owner (who speaks perfect english, but is the only one) is great and recommended the best beaches within walking distance. Just wish we had a little more time to enjoy the place -- and hope to return!
