“Great hotel for the area. The manager, Rohit, mentioned that some elements of the design were inspired by the nearby Oberoi property and even showed me photos of the original. It was interesting to hear, though I was a bit surprised he would openly frame it that way. What stood out more to me was the situation with the hotel’s small onsite theater. Rohit mentioned they show two films each night, one at 7:00 PM and another at 10:00 PM, which I was genuinely looking forward to. The “theater” is……

“Khem Villas is an absolute treasure. It's a beautiful oasis to soak in the history, culture, and of course tigers of Ranthambore, and take safari trips into the jungle. The property was remarkable, the room was clean and inviting, the food menu was consistently delicious, and the staff goes above and beyond with their kindness and personal touch. It is a truly one of a kind place and I can't recommend staying here enough.”

Wifi was limited and phone reception terrible. Unfortunately as a foreigner the safari’s were expensive for what you get.”

“I have mixed reviews about this property. When I originally booked the room (months in advance) I had asked the hotel if they would be able to help me book the Tiger Safari tour. I was told they would. Fast forward to a week before my visit to India, and I’m told I need to book it myself! High season, everywhere was basically booked. I had to pull strings with a tour group I used in Delhi/Agra to help me out last minute. The site is well off the beaten track, which may not be a bad thing……

“Loved the new hotel, and our rooms had their own swimming pool and open-air bathtub! Loved it ! Loved the live performances at Hi Tea! But missed lots of fresh vegetables at dinner, we were told, as the hotel was in the middle of a desert, fresh vegetables were not possible!”
