Stayed in privilege room with good view. Twin room size is very comfortable. Walkable to odori park, tv tower, fish market and lots lots of food and nearby.... Sapporo is food heaven. 2 station from JR, ie Sapporo main train station, take the green line and exit 4 (turn to your left) if you have luggage. About 100 metre after crossing the road, you will sea a crab restaurant on the opposite road. Reception is on 3rd floor. Reception is efficient and professional with good English skill. Use Sapporo to plan day trips Asahisawa, beautiful mountain, rugged and cooler, which needs good pair of climbing shoe, or wonderful zoo , or plan a day trip noribetsu, lake toya. Seek the help of tourist info to plan your trip and buy a Hokkaido rail pass if visiting many far places. Hakodate is a little too far to do as a day trip, staying overnite to catch the sunset and evening lights on mount hakadote is a must.
