“This is an incredible hotel. The rooms are great, the mattresses are excellent, the restaurant is superb, the staff is exceptional (especially Pino). We would have loved to stay longer. It's also nicely situated close to the national park and only an hour or so from the phenomenal Maratea coastline. Highly recommend!”

“We received a very warm welcome and assistance for parking my car and took our luggage from the car to our room. The room was outstanding clean and the largest room in our month long stay in Italy. It is a true castle we felt like a king and queen. ”

“This was undoubtedly the worst hotel experience of my life. I’ll narrow it down in bullet points. 1) there was a literal dj set huge party happening BENEATH OUR ROOM. Until 1:30 IN THE MORNING. When we complained the owner told us “not to obsess over it.” Mind you- it literally sounded like the DJ was in our bathroom. I am not exaggerating for effect. I’ve never experienced anything so absurd in the life (i literally worked in nightlife). 2) after being told the party would stop in 30……

“Struttura molto bella e ben tenuta. Cura e pulizia con attenzione ai minimi particolari. La proprietaria Antonella è una persona deliziosa e attenta alle richieste degli ospiti. Il paesino è molto caratteristico ed è ideale per chi cerca un pó di tranquillità. Chi sceglie la location deve soltanto sapere che il posto è un po’ fuori mano dai centri abitati. Per il resto top!!!”

“Heel leuk en schoon hotel; bijzondere lay-out. Hotel is gelegen op 3 niveaus en heeft geen lift; dus sjouwen geblazen met de koffers. Kamers zijn krap; houdt niet over; schuifdeur naar badkamer (draaideur zou net passen). Storend: Onze kamer had geen enkele Europees stopcontact met randaarde en daarom geen aansluitingen voor onze waterkoker en/of onze laptop. Stekkers met dunne pootjes (b.v. mobiele telefoon) passen wel. Zweembad gaat pas op 16 mei open; jammer. Airco werkte niet; blijkt deze……

“Such a quaint little home! Staff were pleasant and accommodating!! Breakfast was included! Make sure you eat at the little pizzeria at the bottom of the hillside! Beautiful location and parking was available!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Al Vecchio Pioppo the place was spotless and beautifully designed. The owners took extra time to tour us around and shared history of the area and other spots for us to explore in Italy. They also made us an authentic Italian meal which was absolutely amazing. The owners definitely went above and beyond to make us feel right at home! Breakfast included was also excellent. We will definitely recommend this beautiful B&B to friends and family. ”
