Needs work & upgrade for the money they charging

The room was dirty the bed was dirty. There housekeeping they do nothing. I didn't want to even walk on the carpet it was so bad we changed rooms three times the last one was ok I guess they charge to much for there rooms to look like that...

Meh. Price was good, though .

Rooms were ok, but the toilet paper holder was half broken and rusty. The hall carpet was nasty and the back door didn't close or lock, so not as secure as it could be. New carpet and some basic maintenance would help. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Needs new carpeting and updating

The price was good. The hotel is close to yhe interstate not really near the beach. Ok for the price but it's time for new carpeting and a refresh. Staff is helpful and there is breakfast.

The hotel is located in a great place as is close to I-75, and just a short distance to Siesta Beach. Lots of places to eat, get gas, or just shop close by. Unfortunately my room was at the end of the first floor hall, and the rear entrance..especially to the pool area, and ice machine was close by. People were going in, and out the door all hours of the night making it hard to get a good nights sleep because they were being loud. This is not the fault of the Hotel, just people being inconsiderate. My room was comfortable, and the facilities were fine. I would recommend this Hotel, but suggest choosing a room on upper floors.

Comfortable beds, little out dated but comfortable

Attendant was pleasant and helpful regards to parking our trailer full of supplies for repairs from Irma. Clean and comfortable.

Cons: Hotel had a bad odor ... rooms were dingy and felt not clean
Had to switch to another hotel .... no way could have stayed there

The 3.2 Rating for this hotel is a lie!

Pros: Front seemed inviting.
Cons: Cleanliness of room, slamming of doors, staff customer service they all act like they hate their job and aren't very eager to please.
Location: Not much to do nearby, it is just off 75 and behind a gas station.
Not only did check in take forever due to their "computer" taking forever to boot, we were told we could split payment since this trip was for my mom's birthday, just to find out it was charged once we checked in not upon check out like most hotels. The gentleman that checked us out looked as if he was in his 80's and his customer service spoke the same. The room was terrible, sheets were too small for the bed, and the carpet was pulling up at the door frames, the bed skirt was ripped and falling off and the bathroom didn't appear to be cleaned and had been patched and barely kept together. This place needs a major over haul and was hard to even find on GPS....don't recommend to anyone price was good but it was subpar at best and the slamming doors all night kept us up we couldn't wait to get out of there!!! The "continental breakfast" was microwaved sausage and something that resembled eggs, and the kitchen staff either didn't speak any english or truly hated her job she just glared at you to make you feel "oh so welcome". This is more than 14 miles from St Armand's Circle like mentioned in the ad, it is right off 75 and over 30 minutes away from there in good traffic. Hallway resembles the hallway from the hotel from "The Shining" creepy and terribly lit. Not a great stay, we all left itchy either from bed bugs or the detergent they used......baddddd experience!

Slightly disappointed

Pros: Clean, right location.
Cons: As above… Including cheaper.
I was just looking for a hotel close to the baseball fields and accomplished that goal. It was clean and all the basics were in place, however not quite worth the price that I paid for it. They were out of cream for my coffee in the morning and out of orange juice for breakfast from the get go. Out of orange juice for breakfast? ! I probably would've given this a more positive review had I paid about $50 less. I think I would look for another place going forward.
