Rooms are small the store is super high they over charged u on everything..

I apologize your stay was less than perfect. Our rooms are some of the largest in the area. We also have beautifully appointed suites if you are looking for even more space. Our market is more of a convenience feature for the forgotten item or a quick snack. If you are looking for an actual store we have a complimentary shuttle that can take our guests to a variety of supermarkets and grocery stores. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Don't expect a Hampton Inn experience here!

This was the worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. The room was clean enough, until we saw a cockroach. The breakfast was gross. The eggs were rubbery and bland, the milk was always empty as was the coffee, and even the waffles weren't great. I chose this hotel because I was running the Sarasota half marathon and it was close to the start (less than 3 miles from start). The hotel didn't accommodate the runners at all. They didn't offer an earlier breakfast or a shuttle to the start...two things other respectable hotels offer when cities have big races! The manager (Robert) was also not helpful. He gave me wrong information about the city offering a shuttle to the start. It took 2 phone calls to get a crib to our room and they didn't have a crib sheet or blanket. He gave me 2 king size sheets to use. Bottom line - definitely not worth the money to stay here!! There are so many other options - choose anything else.

Poor Customer Service

the hotel was fine, but the customer service was awful! I was waiting for 15 minutes for them to bring out more eggs at breakfast and it was 9:45 and they close at 10. Not my fault they didn't plan for the guests, so we waiting for 15 minutes for more eggs 6 of us in line, when they came out with them and we started to take them it was 10am and they shut the lights off on us! we are standing there putting eggs on our plate and they shut the lights off! Are you kidding me! shame on you. I don't care if it is 10 or not we all waiting patiently then you do that! no we all looked at each other and were like did they really do that. Then I went to front desk to complain and they said oh yes they do that? Are you kidding me! then on top of that i went to go lay out by the pool but there are no lounge chairs just sitting at table chairs??? I don't know who is in charge but you need better management CUSTOMER SERVICE is #1 but I must say, the only saving grace was the sweet older lady on Monday who worked the breakfast bar and was so pleasant and helpful. This hotel left a bad taste in my mouth. you also may want to mention you are right next to the airport.
