Friendly and helpful front desk staff. No a/c controls in the room so it's hot until around 8pm.

Pet friendly so be aware

Pros: The location to I-75 is great and its close to the ball parks and minutes from downtown Sarasota.
Cons: Update your mattresses and only allow pets on certain floors of the hotel.
The hotel staff were very courteous especially Tim at the front desk. The rooms are clean but the bed was uncomfortable because the mattress had lumps in it. The hotel is pet friendly and the room next to ours had small dog that could and would not stop barking!!!

Don't stay when it's raining

Check-in was fine...nice staff. The hotel was full for the world rowing competition and we saw jerseys hanging out of windows to dry, dirty shoes in hallway. Understand this is not the hotel's fault, but it added to the negative ambiance. Opened our door and were hit with strong musty smell and an old dated room. Had to unplug the refrigerator to sleep because it made loud whining noises. Bed was not comfortable. Then, in the middle of the night when we got up to use the bathroom, we found the carpet soaking wet from the hard rain outside coming in through the A/C opening. It covered from the wall to the bed. Now we understood the musty smell. We moved to another hotel the next morning.

excellent staff Tim ans Sonya made the difference

during the terrible time of the Hurricane Irma , the staff Tim and Sonya made the difference to make all guests feel propected and cared . Will be etenrnally gratefull for the compassion towards us and all.

Cons: Fix the Hallway the hallway problem.
Location: A couple of good restaurants nearby
Breakfast is great. The hotel gave me a bill although all was already paid off through EXPEDIA. I complained about that on my departure. This has not been solved as of today, 5 days after my departure. The hallway always smell damp, or "mildewey"

Will stay again

Very nice rooms great location. Staff was polite. Only problem was we only got coffee for the first morning. Will bring my own next time.

Pros: Clean, staff freindly and outgoing, very helpful.
Cons: Signage for driveway entry. Hotel was easy to find but the driveway was not. I was driving a moving truck that wasn't easy to navigate with.
Hotel was great but it was difficult to find the driveway to enter.

Holiday Inn Express ---just ok

Out stay was just ok. We choose this hotel because it close to Siesta Key beach. The décor of the hotel was ok. Nothing especially pretty. Our room was very small --bathtub had a stain that looked like something had been stuck on the side of the bathtub and removed but the stain was still there. The beds were comfortable. There was a microwave and refrigerator. It served the purpose of giving us a clean place to sleep but we probably wont go back. The breakfast buffet was fine.
