Cute, comfortable & clean; convenient beach accessPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: The Inn is super convenient to the beach, only a short walk across the street. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas and towels as well.
Location: Downtown Venice is a cute area with restaurants and shops.
We stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with our accommodations. Almost like a mini-apartment, the room was very spacious with separate living and sleeping areas, as well as a complete kitchen. Bath was also well appointed with separate bath and shower. Two sinks, one in the bedroom. Small pool, but large enough for the time of our visit is also very nicely landscaped.

Nice place at the beach.Posted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, centrally located to beach and shopping, good breakfast, supply of beach items free to use.
Location: Short drive to Caspersen and Manasota Beaches for hunting teeth, Siesta Key and Casey Key also close by.
They upgraded our room when we checked in. Easy walk across street to beach and 1 mile walk to shopping and restaurants. We came for sun, shark teeth hunting and relaxing. If you go near end of September you will find that several restaurants are closed, this is their dead season. The Inn has a good continental breakfast, beach chairs and sand scoops for shark teeth hunting.

Pleasant stayPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Very large 2 bedroom hotel room with 2 baths- very hard to find one of these.
Cons: Update it a bit!
Pretty nice, outdated furnishings, very clean. Bed was comfortable. Excellent cable package. Not within walking distance like I expected- it was at least 7-8 or so blocks to the restaurants and bars, and in the summer heat, that can be a long haul. We took a cab to a few places- Pops(?) restaurant was on the river and was a really nice time to sit at the bar and watch the boats go by. Cannot say that we had good food at any of the 3 restaurants (Daiquiri Deck, Sharky's, and Pop's) we went to- just mediocre, but Sharky's was right on the beach/pier so that was a good atmosphere. The hotel staff was fabulous and the pool was fun. Would go back!

The property was darling. Staff was so helpful. Bottled water and popcorn along with free continental breakfast and snacks throughout the day. Located across the road from the beach and close to the quaint part of Venice. Can't wait to go back!

Pros: Everything! We lacked nothing!

Had an awesome 2-night get-away to the Inn on the Beach-Venice, FL! My husband and myself Along with two other couples had a total of three rooms and they were all perfect! We were looking for a weekend of simple relaxation and is was delivered😀! Everything was tremendous and never lacked anything from the accommodations to the staff to the recommendations for dinner. All six of us said it is a place for a definite return visit in the very near future! Thank you, Staff- you guys were great!
