Welcoming concierge, helpful and friendly. Small Inn but good buffet breakfast and well situated for Ringling and car museums

Stay away..an awful experience..won't stay again

Our family (3 adults) had a quick stay for a morning flight. Checked in @ 4:30pm. The 2-bd room was smelly but ok. The blanket was thin w holes in it. I went to ask the manager (believe he's also the owner) for extra sheets to cover myself. He immediately rolled his eyes..said no (didn’t expect that). I said we booked the room w 3 adults. He looked so upset and still a no (rude... unprofessional). I saw his wife soon after…had to beg her for an extra bedding sheet. She did. But the whole process was a hassle. As we unpack, I noticed they only provided two sets of towels in the room. I'd have gone back for some extra. But given the previous encounter, I knew better. At check-in, I was told the breakfast’s between 7-10am (All places I've stayed over the yrs offer coffee at 6 or 6:30am...esp. considering it's next to an airport). I asked the manager if we can grab a quick to-go snack bag before heading to the airport. He said we can grab some fruits and cereal on the go as they leave those in the open area all the time. Turned out that was NOT true. We went to the front desk at 6:40am to check out and grab some fruits on the way out. The front office was locked. Ran the bell and the same guy wouldn’t let us in. I repeated what he told us yesterday. Still a cold no. For check-out, he just said we can go, w the door closed. The whole stay was awful, basically “give me money, and leave me alone”. The manager was rude, unprofessional, made us feel unwelcome. Won't stay again.

A Clean, Decent night's stay for the money.

Knights Inn was a decent place to stay. I stayed here before. Room was comfortable, breakfast was basic- toast, bagels coffee, juice, fruit. Owner is pleasant. He always seems to be right there in the small breakfast area, as if he's monitoring how much you eat. It's convenient to local restaurants & downtown Sarasota. There's a Classic Car & a Circus Museum down the street.

Thank you for staying with us Iam sorry you felt bad about the owner keeping a eye on have much you eat at breakfast that is not the case but we have a very small area and it has to be kept full of food regularly

Shower walls were not cleaned very well shower curtain had mold on it. Staff was not very friendly

We are sorry that you had a bad experience with our staff we will look into this right away shower curtain overlooked by maids and has been replaced. Please keep us in mind next time you come to Sarasota.

Okay for the price.

For the price & place to lay down your head it was okay. Room did smell a little musty - would not stay more than 1 night though.
