It was a get away. Breakfast was good & the area was clean. Fair price. Good value.

The hotel was very old and smelled like mold. The shower barely came out of the shower head Bc it was pouring out of the bottom faucet.

This basically was a good room. To make it better, all you would have to do is take some Hilex water and scrub the bathroom door and tile floors. I wiped a few coffee spots off of the bath door, and it was filthy. Even for me who is not a cleaner at home. otherwise enjoyed the stay and it was quiet and priced good.

Near the airport.Posted Apr 2, 2016 on Hotels
We had an early morning flight so we spent our last night here. Our rooms smelled a little funny and the AC was super loud. They provided 2 small bottles of water in the room, which wasn't enough for us, but there was no water in the vending machines. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable and the location suited our purpose. It's also near the Ringling Museum and the New College of South Florida.

Spent 2 nights here to see the town (1st visit since 1993) and see an Orioles spring game. Hotel is on US 41 just S of University Parkway, a major E-W road in Sarasota/Bradenton near the airport. The hotel was clean and well-kept, as was our room. The pool was clean but unheated. Wi-fi was very weak; if you stay here, be sure to BYOI (Bring Your Own Internet). Free breakfast is available but there is no room in the lobby to eat it, so you need to take it back to your room or to the adjacent pool area. The lobby was empty when we checked out at 6:40 a.m. and no one answered the bell, so we had to squeeze our room keys into the narrow depository. This is a good hotel for the price, but wi-fi needs to be improved and the lobby should be manned 24/7.
