nice hotel with a pool.

Pros: It had a pool
Cons: The breakfast can be improved if a staff is assigned to the breakfast area. The microwave and counter were dirty.
Nice location. Only a few minutes from restaurants and beaches.

Great Room in Paradise

Pros: Everything
Cons: Not much
Location: From the Ringling Museum to Shelby Botanic Gardens, something for everyone.
From check in to check out the experience was all I expected and more. Facility was clean, well kept and up to date. Room was fresh and clean with everything a weary traveler could need. A very pleasant time.

Convenient location f

I needed a hotel for a short stay close to downtown. The hotel was centrally located and close to rhe scheduled event. The ameneties were pleasing. The room had coffee stains on the nightstand and tables, which was drawing tiny ants. Once the coffee was wiped up, the ants went away. Other than that, the room and linen were clean. I did not eat breakfast, so I cannot rate it. Overall, pleasing stay.

Pros: The staff was polite and helpful.
Cons: The rooms are not clean and the building is dirty. A good cleaning.
Location: Location seemed ok. I did not stay long enough. The beach was not too far from the hotel.
The facility was less than desirable. I walked in the lobby and the place reeks of some indefinable odor. It was raining out so I decided to stay. My room had ants all over the night stand table and the room smelled awful. I spoke with the front desk and I requested a new room. The new room did not have insects, but it smelled equally bad. The bed was uncomfortable. The facility is dirty. There was no hot water to bathe. Worst experience. The reason I give it 1 star is because the front desk staff was very cordial and helpful as best they could. I had reservations for two nights, I only stayed the one night and I checked out the very next morning. I would not recommend this hotel.

Pros: was clean. close too things we wanted to do while in Sarasota.
Cons: dogs placed on first floor. some people
the hotel allows dogs..... we were on the forth floor had kids running and yelling up and down hallway.

Convenient and Nice!

Pros: The staff was particularly nice and helpful. They seemed to like their jobs and the people they came in contact with.
Cons: Because Sarasota is a tourist destination, extending the hours for breakfast would be nice.
Location: Easy navigation through town. I highly recommend Mote Marine Laboratory (aquarium) and the bay front.
We stayed for a week and the staff recognized us immediately. They asked interested questions about our activities. They really enhanced our stay. The breakfast was tasty: coffee, tea and infused water were available all day. Parking was well lit and the pool area was pleasant. The location made it handy to get around town.

Pros: Nice, clean room
Cons: The breakfast needs to be improved; like scrambled eggs, sausage.
Hotel was nice, room clean & comfortable. The breakfast was not so good for the price you have to pay.

Checked in - then checked back out

Pros: They refunded our money promptly.
Cons: The smell - make it refreshing!
Location: Not sure because we didn't stay overnight. Three minutes in our room and we checked out.
I made reservations online for my husband and I to have a weekend getaway. Upon walking in the door we could smell a stench. It's hard to pinpoint what it even smelled like...just not clean! We figured the room might be better so checked in and got our key. Upon entering the room, the "stale" odor was even worse than it was in the downstairs lobby. My husband and I just looked at each other and I said "are you thinking what I'm thinking?". He answered yes, we got back on the elevator and went back to the lobby and checked out. This is also not to mention that it appeared to not be a very good part of town. It was nowhere near as nice as it was pictured online. I would not recommend this hotel and would give them a zero if we could.
