Lonely dogs hotel
Posted Sep 7, 2016
Pet friendly hotels should have SPCA monitors assigned. Seemed the hotel is a place where customers come in with their pets drop them off and go to town for a good time. The pets (dogs) 1-3 on my floor start barking and don't stop, this is a form of animal abuse. If and when you bring your pet to a hotel stay with your pet don't leave them alone in a strange room, why would you do that?
Hotel stunk of pets and tobacco smoke, beds need to be replaced, not clean at all, breakfast the worst and more....

Thanks for sharing your comments about your experiences at our property in Sarasota. We appreciate you taking the time to post your comments about your stay, and we're sorry for the problems that you encountered with the barking dogs , odor, and cleanliness of the hotel. While we are pet friendly we do require all of our guests that have pets to sign our pet policy upon check in, which addresses many of the concerns you mentioned. We'll be working with our team to make sure they are being more aware of dogs causing a disturbance. When we do become aware of a disturbance we contact the owners and have them return to hotel to address the problem. We will also be sharing your comments with our housekeeping team as well and reviewing the proper cleaning steps they should be taking after a pet has been in a room. We want all of our guests to have a enjoyable stay and we are truly sorry that we let you down. We hope that you will come back and give us another try in the future.
