On the beach

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Hotel staff was awesome. They upgraded my family's room to a beach view free of charge. Everything is close by, shopping, private beach, minutes to Siesta Key. Wifi free parking, use of amenities such as bikes, swimming pools, beach chairs and towels all included.

Awesome view of the beach from your hotel room!

The resort was clean, close to siesta Key. Free parking, wifi. Resort fee covered everything from biking, using beach chairs, tables and tiki huts. Amazing views of the private lido beach.

Super Nice, clean Great Smell as soon we get in. The Staff @ the Front Deck were friendly and helpful, the others were too. Definitely We Recommend This Hotel. The Pool was Good. The Beds are comfortable. No Rocks @ the Beach.

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: Beautiful sunset views, excellent beach and pools
Cons: The hotel is clean but older, would be nice to see them remodel the rooms to bring them up to date
The view from our 4th floor room made the stay worth it, awesome sunsets! Absolutely book the gulf front rooms.

After pay a lot is a fee of $28.00 a day. Beds very small. The beach is beatiful . Next year we have to weigh price and confort aganist the blue waters and white sands castle.

Pros: location was very nice
Cons: the hotel is very dated, and needs a lot of updating overall.
Lovely location for a tired hotel, locals stated it has a lot of old florida charm, which swayed our opinion slightly, overall an ok hotel.

The best location you could ask for.

Posted Aug 22, 2016
Pros: This is literally right on the beach. The staff is what you would expect from the most expensive accommodations, I could not say enough good things a
Cons: Not much! It was great!
Location: The salty dog, the dry dock and the hotel all had great food! Lots of shopping, golf, fishing, water an fun!
This is literally right on the beach. The staff is what you would expect from the most expensive accommodations, I could not say enough good things about them. The hotel is an older hotel, but kept very well and is very clean. The set up is very easy to get what ever you need. It was the closest you could get to your own private beach. How many times could you have the general manager make sure you had everything you needed. He along with everyone else are FABULOUS. Of the many Florida trips we have taken, this was the overall best experience we have had in over a decade!

Staff was super friendly! Hotel is on the beach which is great! Rooms need an upgrade but you are only in them to sleep so not a big deal.

Beachy casual family hotel

Posted Aug 9, 2016
Pros: Beachfront, clean, quiet.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Right near St Armands Circle, which is nice for dining and shops.
The hotel was perfect for my needs... I wanted a beach getaway-nothing fancy. The hotel is right on the beach anf they upgraded us to a beachfront balcony room which we enjoyed so much. The hotel is older and somewhat worn. But I liked it that way. The room was clean and quiet, and it included free wifi, refrigerator and microwave. I enjoyed the stay and recommend the hotel as it is also a reasonable price.
