Excellent location for our purposes

Posted May 16, 2017
Pros: The location and it's reliability are definites for us.
We have family up in Saratoga Springs and we almost always stay at the Holiday Inn there. It's clean, comfortable and reliable always.

Nice hotel close to the casino

Posted Apr 21, 2017
Location: The Saratoga Casino was only 1 mile away.
I stayed for a conference. The food and staff were wonderful. I would stay again.

Under construction. A little Plain. Small bed

Posted Mar 1, 2017
First, the staff was excellent - so friendly and cheerful. A big plus! Our room had a non-queen bed - which we didn't notice as a problem until waking up the next morning. We should have complained as they may have moved us, but we didn't want to move our stuff. Also, we were on the 1st floor so we had to keep curtains shut since the parking lot could see in - again, we should have moved right away. The room was kind of plain. The indoor pool was nice although only 3 chaise lounges. Nice to have (free) coffee and tea in the lobby.

Ridiculously overpriced

Check in went smoothly, despite the hotel undergoing some major renovations. After that, the only other thing that impressed me was how good the free popcorn was from 4-7. We paid $180+ to stay here for ONE NIGHT. Here's a list of reasons why it wasn't worth it: 1) Parking is AWFUL. I drive a small SUV and it was impossible to find a spot that wasn't so close to another vehicle that one of us wouldn't be doored. 2) We called the front desk to ask a question. We were hung up on. 3) No hot tub. 4) Elevator quit working about 3 hours after we got there. 5) The walls are paper thin. 6) Check out is at 11 am. For some reason, housekeeping was banging on our door at 9 am. 7) When you pay $180 for a room, the least they could do is put out muffins or yogurt or something. I booked this place because it was close to the attractions on Broadway. We were able to walk to a comedy show and to Druthers, which was nice. However, nothing about this place was nice at all. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Nice central location, reasonably-priced

My wife and I had a great stay, my only downside would be the quality of the food served.
