Great location and decent facilities, with issues

Stay overall was okay. Beds were comfortable, staff was engaging and helpful and view was great. The doorman was helpful in suggesting a local coffee establishment that I asked about.
The drawbacks- I ordered a birthday amenity when I arrived, but ended up having to call down because I hadn't received it yet and the desk mentioned having no record of it. They did do a rush job and bring it up right away though.
When I checked the next morning, the person that took my original request showed me that she had taken the request, so some how it got shuffled to the side and forgotten.
When the shower was initially turned on in the morning, the water was brown. This might be due to older pipes, but was a turn off considering they have coffee makers in the rooms and you get the water from the bathroom sink. I was wondering if the water is potable?
The heater was very loud, so we turned the fan to low, and despite having the thermostat on auto, the heater never turned off and it got up to 26 in the room. Around 3am, we ended up having to turn the heat completely off and open the window a crack to cool down the room.
