Nice hotel and close to a number of great shops, bars and restaurants. Service was top shelf and the rooms are what you expect. I'll def be back.

The foyer was cold. They need to install a revolving door to preserve the heat. A blast of old man winter happened every time the door opened. Some of the cloth chairs in the lounge are showing their age by being worn a tattered. A vending machine did not provide the right changevand according to the front desk it's not the only one. The hotel did deduct the missing amount. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was good. More a 3.5 than 3. I'd look at another place if I were to return.

location great for river walks and downtown

I arrived on the weekend and staff wasn't warm or inviting. I was treated very rudely on late arrival with of course no care or concern as management wouldn't be in till Monday. Very disappointed in treatment this visit as all my previous visits have been here and good. I guess next time I will be choosing a different hotel.

Wonderful weekend

It was a wonderful weekend spent with the family. We got room service and the food was good. The kids meal and their fries are to die for! The swimming pool was good as well. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location and decent facilities, with issues

Pros: Great location, workout and pool facilities were top notch, business centre was adequate. They have a great outdoor area.
Cons: Better communication between the front desk and the kitchen staff. Upgrade the pipes so that the water is clear and not brown. Fix the thermostat.
Location: Small, but bustling downtown area. Ice skating nearby. Many local bars, coffee shops, and restaurants within 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.
Stay overall was okay. Beds were comfortable, staff was engaging and helpful and view was great. The doorman was helpful in suggesting a local coffee establishment that I asked about. The drawbacks- I ordered a birthday amenity when I arrived, but ended up having to call down because I hadn't received it yet and the desk mentioned having no record of it. They did do a rush job and bring it up right away though. When I checked the next morning, the person that took my original request showed me that she had taken the request, so some how it got shuffled to the side and forgotten. When the shower was initially turned on in the morning, the water was brown. This might be due to older pipes, but was a turn off considering they have coffee makers in the rooms and you get the water from the bathroom sink. I was wondering if the water is potable? The heater was very loud, so we turned the fan to low, and despite having the thermostat on auto, the heater never turned off and it got up to 26 in the room. Around 3am, we ended up having to turn the heat completely off and open the window a crack to cool down the room.

The Jewel of Saskatoon

Pros: The location. How beautiful and well kelp this city landmark. Easy parking .
Cons: Nothing.
Location: It's along the river during the summer is a gorgeous place to walk along. It's right downtown near many shops , restaurants and entertainment.
We were only there for one night. The staff was really nice at the front desk and quick. He moved us to a nicer Room. This is a Grand Beautiful and elegant hotel . With wonderful facilities . In the heart of downtown. Easy walking to everything.

Location: it was christmas so everything was closed

Beautiful Hotel.

Every time we have stayed at the Bessborough, we have been treated like royalty. The rooms are beautiful & the Sunday Brunch was lovely.

Nice hotel close to shopping

We had a great stay in this hotel. Parking is challenging. But we paid $15 for parking at the back of the hotel good parking spot and safe.
